I lived at 7300 feet at Lake Alpine Ca they closed the gate and I lived about a mile in,I used to get about 1200 miles a year in riding,as people would stop in and need a riding partner. Miss those days still have sled but have to stay on groomed trails do it till you can’t

I'm from Grand Island, NY and settled in Eagle County, CO and we do similar riding but generally wear AT or Tele boots, strap boards to the machine and go for a ride, but if there's a bitchin' ski line or you're solo riding and break the machine, they're handy to have. Don't knock it till you've tried it ! (which is basically what you say to your g/f with regards to trying snowmobiling.)

Don't know if you read comments, but here it goes. Last season you once met a group of riders that was gonna jump a gap, but you didn't show us how that jump went. I've taken a look for that video but I couldn't find the right video, iirc you said you would link to the other channel. So could you link that channel or better yet link to that video so I can watch it again . The fall is here, crisp mornings and soon it starts all over again. Look forward to watch this season. Are we gonna see you on a tubro mod sled this season?

@@MuskokaFreerider LoL Maybe! I have been sledding at Revy since the 80's. before you were born likely. I helped Dusty Veideman pioneer the Veideman trail and other spots. Fun times. I soooo hate the Alberta transition between summer to sledding times, it is to long without fun.
