In February of 2022 I got to go out to Minneapolis and play a show for some awesome people.
From the camera's point of view, you're looking toward the back of the room so most of the crowd is behind the camera and behind me as I'm playing. It's not every day that you get solid video and audio recordings from shows, so I wanted to upload this one. It includes a bunch of tunes I've been working on and playing out recently as well as all the mistakes that come along with playing live.
Playing on the floor is interesting. I love it because I can connect with my audience more and they can see what's going on. The informality gives people the freedom to come up and talk to the performer while performing and to be honest, that's great! I love getting to chat with people and talk about what I'm doing. For the recording, it might seem like some parts are drawn out too far while I'm talking with folks, however looking around at the crowd in the bar, no one seemed to mind.
