That said, I am having a terrible time getting any kind of support response to my inquiry: Product: USB3.2 Gen 2 10 Gpbs Type-C to Dual M.2 PCIE/NVME SSD Enclosure Attempted Function: Offline Clone Function Additional facts: 'A' port is 500 gb "source" NVME SSD; 'B' port is new, blank 500 gb NVME SSD Problem/Issue: Power light is solid green; A and B status lights are solid yellow and have remained solid yellow for over two hours. When I press and hold the offline cloning button, all light illuminate but then only the blue power light and the yellow 'A' port light remain solidly illuminated. I have no idea if I should just be waiting longer or if there's a problem with the process and can't get a response from Alxum. Any ideas?
No, I don't believe that it supports RAID. I did not see this in the spec or docs and there is no option to select a RAID mode when installing the drives.
This particular enclosure requires external power via the DC adapter, since it has two drive slots and the power delivered over USB-C alone won't be sufficient to run the drives. I believe this is true even if you have only 1 drive installed in the unit.
