I recently found a very efective strategy, the AI actually struggles a lot on Sharp córners, even if they aré using their stupidly OP nitro, you Will easily overtake them if you use yours. You Will be surprise that you'll gain a lot of distance from the Rivals. I also found out that if you gain a specific amount of distance, the AI wont be able to catch up for the rest of the race. This doesnt apply to special tours, since everyone Is racing at insane speeds
Dude, what sick speedrun! I downloaded the iso yesterday and played on the ppsspp emu, what a game! The menu aesthetics, the music, the cars, instant love.
Thanks to the strategy i found out, i recently completed all max tours, almost all of the races were completed on my 1st try 👏 Thank you man for also showing me how you did it. Always the sleepers are the fastest, those 2 gave me a lot of headache in special 2.
Can I ask what's the advantage of manual transmission? Also these tours were so hard to beat because the ai go way past their max speed which is just stupid
You have overall more control and for example you can try even going foing for a trick known as 2nd gear start! You can probably accelerate faster too from start and so on! As far as it is known, Automatic has no advantages!
@@ALZERI28 well shit! i guess i should have searched before asking lol. I was able to do max class 6 with no nitrous (i think) and did most of max special 1 with no nitrous but i didn't know if it was possible for all of them. granted i also think i was using mild to do it
You can do it woth everything, and for some player mild suits them better! I personally prefer dyn also for the reason of more driftiness = easier to get yourself in blocking positions in tougher position. If there is one thing I reach an agreement with people when I talk about this, it seems that everyone agrees on Standard being worst lol.
Can we just talk about how in RR1 PSP, the AI have like 30+ more miles per hour on their top speed, but their strategy is to… be at the same speed as you whenever you drive alongside them. 😕
