i do this often for pieces i plan on selling. i’ve found that lots of people prefer the clean, sketchless look of digital but the feel and texture of traditional. it’s a good way to meet both expectations.
@@ravencandraw like i said people like the feel and texture traditional art provides. it’s a feeling unlike nice card stock or other printed works. you can feel the paper and see every stroke.
If you're having fun, and it makes you happier than a digital artwork, then it was absolutely worth it. Art is really hard to do incorrectly (unless you're going for something specific and you can't achieve that, of course). I'd say? If your having fun, then go wild.
Wdym art is hard to do incorrectly? There are plenty of people who can't draw at all, their child-level drawings totally look incorrectly. Myself is an example.
@@nbvehbectw5640 yeah, and that's why I added the disclaimer saying that if you're going for something specific and you can't, then it's incorrect. But if you're quite literally throwing paint at a wall with absolutely no goal in mind, it's... Well it's hard to do wrong.
At first I though this was a comment making fun of him (im british iykyk) but then I checked and I realised his name is actually rishi I feel so bad for him
I absolutely love ohuhu markers. They provide really good quality (not as good as copics but still really good) for a pretty good price. I got the 320 brush set for less than 300 bucks, which when it comes to alcohol markers of this quality is extremely cheap
It looks AMAZING!!! And thank you for explaining the supplies you used too (though your skills definitely play the biggest role in how fantastic it looks✨)
I usually draw something traditionally first and then take it to my iPad because my OCD has been so intense lately So in essence I draw everything ✨several times✨ But I like this, this is neat and allows for a really clean illustration/reference sheet for future use, especially cus you can look at it in person while using your pad for whatever else Ngl I find myself double tapping for undo on my sketchbook pages...
@Lilly-cj2ks I'm a digital artist, and I've never really tried copics until recently, and I didn't understand how to use it since watching videos. They seem to just continuously paint.
I do super appreciate you saying what tools and materials you're using but holy hell that adds up to a solid chunk of change lol its easy to forget how costly art supplies are when you're just slowly collecting them over the years

@@dontcheckinsideyourcloset Yeah that's fair! I just appreciate the undo button and 100% erasure, as a very heavy-handed sketcher... on paper my past mistakes would haunt me as faint unerasable lines & faint grooves -.-'
it would have been better if you used the brand new presurized -32 thiccness v32.5 titanium pump action x8 scope indiana jones vulcanized and reinforced drake sized dirty toe black pen for the outlines tbh
AHAH! SO ITS THE SAME FOR ALL TUPES OF ARTISTS! I am a traditional artist, using pens, markers, and pencils and all that stuff. So, when I go to try digital art, I often just take a picture of what I want to draw and send it to my pc so I can draw over it. Like this but reverse lol
It's okay dude! Probably the best way to 'forget' her is not by erasing the memories with her, but by axcepting that things won't be the same anymore. People just don't things work out the way they planned and it can be really tough, especially break ups. Just remember that she made you happy and that the memories with her were joyful. You can't forget her, but you can move on. Life is beyond that, and I hope you'll have worderful days after these. Hope this will help, even just a little bit.
As a both digital and traditional artist......having a tangable result after conpleteing Traditional art......simply feels way better than having a file or printing it ngl
i think it’s so interesting that you go from light to dark! i do that when i want to do starker cell shading but i tend to go dark to light so it blends easier :3 markers are so versatile to peoples rendering style
