Very nicely done, I have never thought about these types of dungeon tiles but now I will put them on my bucket list. 🙌 Enjoyed the video mate, keep it up
Good evening good sir I recently discovered your channel (I was looking for Mordheim terrain and bands ideas) and what a shock, you are everything I could have hoped for. First, I love your tone and humor. Your voice and accent are really soothing and it helps in following the video. It also shows how passionate you are Second, you master soooo many tools (either manual or softwares), and it really adds to your creations (I love your posters and the fact that you can create your own 3D pieces if needed for example). You are a multi-talented Sir! Finally, your paint jobs are always nicely done, they really match the mood/atmosphere you are trying to create and the story you want to tell. I'm so glad I found you, and be sure that I will keep an eye (2 might be better) on your work Cheers
Phwoar! pretty dungeon tiles, I like the texturing on the floors, the ornate door hinges, and the walls. I don't think there has ever been a product that made 3D dungeoneering look so good. Fantastic recreation of the painted promotional tiles, so many layers but worth it. I like the fun little stencil.. sweet t-shirt.
whoa - I thought you made a screw up when you started with the spray on the walls ... but hell, it turned out epic :) I would have probably quit before the airbrushed octopus, but you carried it off to perfection.
@@DevsDice well…it might not be Mensa-level genius… but it is a subtle reminder that I overthink EVERYTHING. I’m embarrassed to say to what lengths I would go to paint that door before I ever thought of a stencil! I was actually going to rave about the overall painting job, but I thought it would sound too over the top haha! It’s a gorgeous project. I’m in awe over how easy you make this look!! 👍🏻❤️💪🏻
Glad you're back and lockdown is easing for you. Amazing paintjob and also fair play for taking the risk with the OSL - it really adds another level of punch to the set.
I personally wont be giving up my foam tiles anytime soon (I get all of my foam for free because of work). That being said, these style of tiles are a great option. They look amazing before they even get painted. Your painting of them made them look absolutely beautiful. I really like the fact that a tile system is out there as an option
@@harrietcraig6716 IRL I'm a construction inspector. I'm constantly picking up off cut pieces of foam from the ground and out of dumpsters. These pieces may not work for construction anymore but they're still perfect for crafting
Hi Leif you funny Guy 😂👍 Who doesn't know it!? " Painters on the Storm " dummdudumdum 🎶🎵 Just jokin' 😂 a really great painting. Looks very good. The Stuff from the Boxes also. Very high detailed 👍 And now...this is the end...my only friend ...the end...🎵🎶 That joke about the Doors was great 😂🤣 Stay healthy and creative Best wishes...😉👍
I gotta admit your style and just the way you present has such a wonderful vibe. Also, fantastic tile set. I need me several boxes of that good plastic.
Nice one brother! Yeah im back, homeless but im back on comenting on my fav youtuber. Loved it bro but Photoshop is cheating. A real viking blind folds himself and drags the boxart over hos tongue and goes by taste to get the right color scheme. As allways awsome work brother
Still much cheaper to just 3d print my tiles even in resin.. a little more work for a third the price and I already have a couple of printers and the ability to use it.. I also loathe walls on my Dungeon Crawl sprawl
I do not use a Single style of tiles, some are self made foam, some are dungeon tiles i bought, some are simple sheets, i Mix and combine was i See fit
Dude, fantastic work! The template for the doors worked out really well. Very happy to hear that you're getting to play live again! I just recovered from COVID last week, and am waiting a few extra days before we have our next live session. Stay amazing!
Leif! Welcome back! Never clicked so fast on a video. Man those dungeon tiles look bad ass!, nice paint job bro turned out fantastic! They have a very nice dwarven mine set up on their website too. Hey couldn't help but notice your very nice 17mm paint dropper bottle set up you have, & how the paints are displayed at a nice angle, where do you get those holders from please?
Thank you Son of Skyrim! Yeah those are from Shiftinglands but as a matter of a fact I have just yesterday changed them for another solution! 👍😂I need more desk space damnit! 👍😂
These look great, but two problems. One is the inch squares. Most modern models are too big for an inch. Second is the cost. You don't seem to get much real estate per box My foam tiles are all dark sea blue based too!
Soooo creepy Leif! Makes me think of HP Lovecraft and Cthulhu with all those tentacles wrapped around everything! You've done a great job of painting then too!
What a magnificent door, it's a good idea to use roots on them, makes everything more fantasy. But after a while I realized that they are actually tentacles lol
