Some people try to make themselves feel better by attempting to belittle others. They're almost always sad people. Just ignore them. However, I'm glad they caused you to make this video because I enjoyed knowing more about what you do (and your boots as always).
Many boots gets nice patina just from wearing the boots and from jeans and so on. Red Wing in copper rough and tough gets crazy patina from just regular wear and jeans
I work on the computer from home but still enjoy wearing my boots. For the last month or so I've been "office doming" my Oak Street entry in the current popular contest. I'm not going to see the battle scars that accumulate on some of the boots worn in the field, but so what? It's still enjoyable to wear great boots. Nice to hear more about your work!
Boots don’t need scars to get a nice patina, I could also wear sneakers like most of my colleagues do. But I enjoy wearing boots, and I will always do. Oak streets looks good, I have never owned any

I'm a bleeding proud " hipster" who wears pnw boots for their intrinsic value and for no specific " work" purpose whatsoever!! Yeah I occasionally hike the upper Himalayas but then who gives a damn. You content is fabulous and I follow you for it and I don't believe you owe anybody an explanation.

@@qltyboots nice, haven’t tried franks yet! I love the tactical boots, very comfy, a little lighter and a bit more flexible then the standard makeup… great for hiking and active outdoor activities too
