Went to a showing and loved the bit with the proposal to rename the George Washington Monument to the George Floyd Monument. I think the audience I was with didn't catch onto the joke where they wanted to repaint it black and make it 30% bigger. I laughed loudly and alone, but have no regrets.

If I'm not mistaken, the George Floyd segment was the only one with members of the public unanimously agreeing with the side occupied by what I think are accurately called race grifters. It reflects badly on the people of Washington DC.

I believe you, that most people don't get these jokes, most probably had to google and then chat gpt it lol. This generation is pretty brain dead, I do notice they don't have good movies to reference though, and I don't know if parents just let them watch the new mind dribble, instead of showing the classics. Yep, it's very telling. These critics don't waste an opportunity to point out when "conservative media" sucks, which to be fair is quite often. But they don't even want to mention this movie because this IMO is the first time I've seen a "right wing" movie be genuinely good. Not good on a curve, not good for a conservative, but just genuinely one of the best movies I've seen this year.

Upper Echelon did a video recently about how all of this started with a research paper, likely written by an ideologue, and was sold to companies and corporations as a way to expand their market and wealth. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it. It truly boggles the mind that they fell for this, but they likely only saw dollar signs. Now, many of these corps have their own dei departments or use consulting firms. They're paying these people money to practically grift them and destroy their companies. It's crazy. There is no morality to these companies. It's all greed. The only way we see change is to stop giving them our money. They need to lose more than the investment firms are giving them.

4:25 I went on Thursday, so there were about a dozen people there total (mostly couples). I'm Black, my husband's mixed. There was a Hispanic couple or two, and I think the rest were White (going by general skin color; lights were dim, so I couldn't see everyone clearly). *EVERYBODY* laughed. Great movie!

She said the mother of a classmate of mine approached her asking her if I had mentioned how we had a new classmate, who was black. My mom was confused and just said I had indeed told her we had a new classmate, but that she had no idea what ethnicity she was. I was always taught that we’re all the same and deserving of love, so of course I didn’t make note of ethnicity 🤷‍♀️ kids only do if you put that into their heads. And even if maybe they may make fun of another kid for “being different,” you can just easily teach them otherwise.

I saw this last night in the theater. I wish Walsh had trolled Breeshia Wade later in the meeting rather than going straight to interrupting and disrupting. I wanted to hear more of her nonsense, perhaps with some probing questions about what, exactly, she was afraid of. (She expressed fear at being in a room full of whites _who had paid her thousands to be there!)_

Just got back and I laughed so much. I'm not a laugh out loud kinda guy when watching movies but I was wearing my humor on my sleeve for this. It was brilliant. Some parts were a bit try hard but man this is easily the funniest movie I have seen in the last decade maybe even since my childhood. I used to love comedies, but I feel Hollywood has forgotten how to be funny. This is super refreshing. But I think it hit so hard because it's one of those "funny because it's true." I live these conversations everyday being chronically online and it felt like it was ripped out of the headlines and felt super relevant.

Funny story…at our local university, the head of the DEI department was interviewed by the “university senate” to get to the bottom of what she was up to. She basically said that DEI is a disaster and is making the university less adept at helping include non Asian non white students. She was extremely smart and dynamic and actually seemed to want what was best for the university and the students. The senate decided to bag her program, but were so impressed with her, they fought to keep her on staff in a different department😂

Alan is spot on, we have made things way too complicated. Humans have an uncanny way of doing that too. This is why I was so drawn to Stoicism. Because it taught me how to simplify life once again, and to rid myself of expectations, to try and remain humble in all things.

I saw the movie on Saturday and laughed my butt off. I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. Matt Walsh did a great job exposing the DEI/anti-racist grift. 10 out of 10 for me. Thanks for reviewing the movie and not bowing down to the left.

The idea that a physical characteristic automatically makes someone racist boggles my mind. And these are so-called 'educated' people falling for this. It's like believing in generational guilt. Puritans believed in that as well, which makes sense given that cancel culture is Puritanical in nature. Nathaniel Hawthorne, whose ancestors were Puritans, had an inherited fear 200 years later that his ancestors' crimes against the women of Salem would come back to haunt him through generational guilt. These people believe in and support Puritanical nonsense but claim to be open-minded and progressive. It's wild.

Just went to go see it today and I'll be going to see it again here pretty soon. It is the funniest movie in at least 5 years. There are so many times where I was absolutely belly laughing. There's some moments where Matt is so cringe with these crazy people that you want to jump out of your skin, followed by the most absurd, hilarious things. Go see it! It's amazing!.
