Hot take, but dying to removal is in fact a reason why certain cards are fine, while similar ones are not, and people using it flippantly doesn't help the discussion. I'm with Nike Carbonara on this one. Archfiend being a creature, while Grave Pact being an enchantment is a large part of why Archfiend is less problematic as a card. Creatures inherently die to _more_ removal than any other card type, and every deck should be able to interact with creatures, given most commanders are creatures. In order of fragility: Creature Planeswalker Battle Artefact Enchantment Sorcery Instant.
