Hey! In this series I welcome you into my home and share with you some of my most bizarre customer service stories in the salon/industry and I allow you the viewer to weigh in on if I was wrong or right on how I handled each situation.
I decided to make this series to share my experiences but to also free my mind of blah... HA HA HA! I believe this will be fun and it will give those a opportunity to learn about possible customer service situation and how to resolve issues; and give future artist a insight on maybe similar situations they may have experienced and to know they are not alone!

You were RIGHT, I believe in customer service HOWEVER I believe some people lack consideration, they have an entitled mentality towards whoever is providing their service and I'm not for it.

That lady was not only horrible but insane. How in the world is she going to message you every other day about the unit and then not show up to pick it up??? I already didn't like that she interrupted you on lunch(Your receptionist should have told her you were on lunch but that is a different matter) You went above and beyond by missing lunch that day and later by taking the unit to her. I also didn't like that she complained about everything. The payment method, showing ID, agreeing to your policy. She got me heated. This lady deserved the final episode for sure. Then got the nerve to ask for you to make another unit? No, I don't think so. I am with your husband, you met some crazy people. I hope you aren't getting too many of those lately. Thanks for taking the time out to do this series sis, I know you are busy :-)

Your so right, the signs were there and I continued to ignore it. These days I don't have many crazy stories as I vet each client but every now and again one may slip. LOL! Thanks love for sharing your comment and tuning as I appreciate it.

“If” she likes the wig she will pay for it??? On a custom wig she is going to try that?? Omg! Lee! These stories! She doesn’t feel comfortable doing a lot of things it seems. Red flags all over the place!! She is emailing you every minute and then she “forgots” about the appointment? 😒 She is the biggest waste of time!!! She was playin’ games and then she has the audacity to say she detects attitude??’ Wow! Some people!! Wasn’t worth the money I’m sure! I would NOT have serviced her again either. You were not wrong. The best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour. I can’t believe she actually had the nerve to ask to see you again. 😬 My husband did some renovations and contractor work and he sometimes would not accept clients based off of his “vibe” and those “red flags”. He didn’t care how much money he was turning down - the nonsense he knew he would have to go through with some people wasn’t worth it for him. Experience teaches you. I do enjoy this series!! I will share the video. 👍🏾 The “you got mail” in the background had me rolling and that lady “cock those pistols”. 😂

Lee, Lee, Lee. This is the oddest customer interaction I have ever heard. In the words of the late Whitney Houston, "Hell to the NO" you were not wrong. The customer is not always right but customer service in the days of old followed this rule. That was when people for the most part were honest and polite. I don't even have a thought as to why she acted this was (you know I try very hard to see both sides of an issue). Your decision to not work with her or her friend is their loss. The fact that she loved the unit and want another one is proof. When someone shows you who they are the first time BELIEVE them!!!! No amount of money is worth the problems she caused by her unexplainable actions. You made the right decision not to work with her again. You are talented and will have more clients than you can possibly book. Good Job!!!!

I am so pissed off from this story. You are better than me. I don't know where on the East coast she's from, but I am in the East coast and she would have been in trouble over here. Not saying anything negative about the way you handled it, you were professional and above and beyond nice and accommodating. You gave her better service than she deserved. You definitely were not wrong.

Omg.. you handled this craziness with upmost professionalism - I wouldn’t have called her back either no response is better than a bad one cuz both of y’all would look like fools..I do believe in firing clients that refuse to follow professional advice/ recommendations. I refuse to put my name , time and energy into a lost cause

People are entitled ...unfortunately you have a very strong personality...I think you should tone it down but block her at the first sign of unprofessionalism from her
