Dont , i repeat DONT put treyin under your eyes. My sister useed to do that even after me telling her not to do that, she has weird dry and redish under eye now. They always look like bruising that’s peeling after the swelling went down. It’s horrible truly
Rutuma... Which one is more effective the cream 0.05 or the gel version? I used 0.025 cream for almost a month now but didnt see any irritation, peeling etc and no results also.... So i doubt if its working or not.... I am using it for uneven skin tone and for anti aging and my goal is to use it for as long as possible.... Pls reply.... Should i shift to gel version 0.05 ?
Keep using 0.025 for atleast a year before you upgrade to 0.05. also 1 month is too short amount of time to notice much difference. Once your skin is used to it you can keep using it for rest of your life. For quicker results on uneven skin I would suggest you add 10% aziderm in the morning and 0.025 Tretinoin at night
Yes the cream version is the best. I personally prefer the gel version for me because I have acne prone skin. I suggest you don't change unless it keeps giving you acne even after the purging period. And definitely don't change if you don't get purging at all.
Tretinoin is literally a skin changer. Been using it for about a year now. I use a milky toner before my tretinoin application like the tonymoly mochi toner and nianicinamide serum and a moisturizer with after the tret application and vaseline jelly to lock everything and my skin never felt any dryness
If you are already used to 0.05 and don't get any irritation then you can add any actives in your routine slowly. I personally would go back to 0.025 as kojic acid is very strong.
Can I ask u ? Am I using it right? I put tretinoin before I clean my face for 30 minutes the I wash my face ! Use serum use moisturizer! In the morning I use clindabit b but I just put for 30 minutes then wash it ? Is it right?
If you have sensitive skin you can start using Tretinoin like this, gradually increase the time you keep Tretinoin on the skin. However you need to apply Tretinoin on clean face too, so don't do it before wash. After proper cleanse use Tretinoin and than after 30 minutes wash it off with just water and than apply rest of your skincare.
Toner is such a waste of money.. it does nothing to the skin. Instead buy a good active for your skin concerns. No dermatologist ever suggests to use toner.. they all say it's a useless product. Don't waste your money on it ladies.. get some other good skincare active or barrier repair cream.
Hi Aditi, yes a lot of dermatologist used to say that but since than toners have changed, it used to be alcoholic and fragrance mostly used to balance pH level after facewash. But not, toners have changed and most of them are filled with active and hydrating ingredient. A lot of dermatologist have changed their opinion on toners including Dr dray on yt. However i do understand where you're coming from, i used to think the same. Thank you for watching 💕
OMG too much of products her face is literally inflamed all these chemicals enter the even in small quantities but gonna damage in long run a good cleanser moisturize n spf will do the job
If you're a beginner, please avoid applying any other active along with Tretinoin. Just the moisturizer with Tretinoin for first 6-8 month. Once your skin adjusts to Tretinoin than only include other active/serums.
Hi..rutuma ..I am also using this cream 0.025 and it was prescribed by dermatologist, my skin turned black when I was using this cream and my skin turned gray after 1 month, it did not peel off. Can u plz suggest me ? Shall I continue or not? I'm just using for only pimple marks on my both cheeks.
It’s not supposed to give you pigmentation, so you might be mixing few actives with it. Here’s what you need to make sure; 1) use it only at night 2) apply sunscreen during day time 3) don’t use any aha bha , Pha or any anti oxidants for the first 3-4 months of using tretinoin 4) tretinoin will give you acne purge for about 4-5 weeks so expect purging 5) start slow, use tretinoin twice a week thn move to every alternate day than every day .. gradually increase the frequency.
@@RUTUMA Thanks for the advice, but my dermatologist suggested that you use it regularly in the evening for 30 to 45 minutes(daily ---Full Face ) and after that I should use another cream(Demelan) and And I feel like my acne marks show more than before .When I use sunscreen during the day it is very irritating.

Make sure you’re using enough sunscreen. Typically you’ll need 3 fingers worth for face and neck. Also, Tretinon + niacinamide at night. Vitamin c + sunscreen in the morning Mild AHA once a week.
It’s safe to use. Use it for 3 days and take 3 days gap to see if any irritation is occurring. If not, continue for daily use. Make sure vitamin c serum doesn’t have fragrance.
