Amanda Staveley opens up about the REAL reason she left Newcastle United

Former Newcastle United co-owner Amanda Staveley has said she was “devastated” at leaving the club, but added that she “didn’t want to get in Newcastle’s way”.
Staveley, who helped to broker the £305m takeover of Newcastle in 2021, left earlier in July after herself and husband Mehrdad Ghodoussi sold their remaining stake in the club.

Regardless of what she says it's a fact she had to take numerous loans from people like the Mike Ashley & Jamie Ruebon to pay for her share of the club. She simply never had the money to fund her share of the club long term

I wish them well even if they buy in with peter kenyon again for Everton. Spurs are too expensive. Bruces set up would have relegated us .Karls got a fair view. I wanted to get a charlie bear kit with her name and number and a heart on it..Amanda#1

The only verifiable thing we know is that she sold her share of in two tranches. Why? In the absence of contraction the only conclusion is that she needed the money. Whatever. It's sad and disappointing that her involvement has ended. Good luck to her with best wishes.

she lost her court case and was ordered to pay 33m so i guess she needed to pay that off but despite that her shares were worth three times what she paid when she sold them so she left with some good money

I think its jokes they pulled out after a few years and they showed that with loads of money you still crnt break into thr top 6.

@@wrighthartlane99 we've spent less than most still in comparison and finished 4th ? Then finished just outside of the top 6 due to a huge injury crisis and still buried you lot several times. 🤣

She's a businesswoman... Borrowed millions seen her asset treble in price and cashed out at the right time, she wanted Liverpool before newcastle and now linked to spurs.. Good at spending other people's money
