जब भी मैं ऐसे सिरियल देखता हूँ, मुझे जैसे मैं वहां खुद खड़ा हु, ऐसा अहसास होता है। आजकल तो सिरियल काल्पनिक हैं, जुड ही नहीं पाते। ऐतिहासिक सिरियल भी आजकल जैसे काल्पनिक कहानी जैसे लगते हैं । कितनी सुंदर कथा है । भारत में रह रहे कितने ही अंधभक्ति करने वाले लोगों की आंखें खोल सकती है ये कथा ।
अंधभक्ति नहीं है हमारे यहां के संस्कार इतने उत्तम है इसमें जिस तरह से दिखाया गया है उसके विपरीत सच्चाई दिखाएं कि सुबह से लेकर रात तक हम भगवान की सेवा में लगे हुए अपने जीवन को जीते है
हा दोस्त, उसी कबूतर ने तुम्हारी मां बहनो की सोच को बदला है, शहरो मे तो देखते ही होंगे। वरना कई औरते इस अम्मा के जैसे पाप पुण्य, पवित्र अपवित्र, धर्म अधर्म के चक्कर मे उलझकर कमजोर पड जाती है। अंधभक्त होना गलत नही है, लेकिन उस अंधभक्ती को ना हटाना गलत है। और सबसे बडा अपराध तुम जैसे लोग करते हो, दुसरो का मजाक उडाकर। शायद तुम्हे यही सिखाया गया है घर या समाज से। अपने के अवगुणो का प्रदर्शन कर तुम अपने घर और समाज का मजाक उडा रहे हो।

Yes seen this episode in 1995 and it still has a great impact on my personal life, I recollect this story when I'm doing something repeatedly or over doing anything. Great message in the story.

I remember watching this episode as a kid back in 1995 or 1994 do not remember exact year .. but really loved watching serials like this back then and now as well.
गौमाता का हमारे जीवन में कितना महत्व है , यह खूबसूरती से दिखाया गया है। काश आधुनिक समाज गौमाता का महत्व समझ पाता लेकिन अब स्वार्थी मनुस्य है हर जगह। गाय को भूलते जा रहे है। आज भी उत्तराखंड के गढ़वाल में घरों को गोबर व गौमूत्र से लीपकर घरों को शुद्ध किया जाता है। जो खुशी गौसेवा करने में है वो संसार के किसी कोने में नही।
गाय अपने खुदके पैदा किए हुए बछड़े पर अपना मूत्र और गोबर पड़ने नही देती, और ना ही अपने मूत्र और गोबर को अपने बच्चे को खाने पीने देती है, क्युकी उसे पता है ये गंदगी है। मगर कुछ अंधविश्वासी लोग जो गाय की नही, इंसान की औलाद है. वो काम करते है जो गाय का बछड़ा भी नही करता।
पानी न पीके रोज गौ मूत्र और गोबर खाया कर और अपने परिवार को भी खिलाया कर बच्चो को छोड़ के क्यों की बुद्धि और ज्ञान के लिए दूध की जरूरत होती बच्चे दूध ही पीते है बेवकूफ जानवर और तेरे मे कोई फर्क नही है जानवरो की सेवा करना अच्छा होता है लेकिन मूत्र और गोबर नही खाया जाता मूर्ख
This is such a beautiful episode.. this highlights OCD.. which is a real mental disorder, and it tries to convey the message in a very beautiful way how it can be helped by simple explanation..and at the same time spreads awareness of not discriminating others because of that. While Laxm Amma's intentions were pure, there are many people who does this not because of OCD but because of prejudice.
Remember watching this very episode more than 25 years ago. Still remember the title track by heart.and everytime I see a fish in a pond or river it reminds of lakshmamma

I had some glimpses of this video & was searching about sulabha Arya works but I didn't find anything about this Amaravati katha. I met Ashok Kumar who resides at Gandhinagar/Ashok nagar of Hyderabad. I had met him several times during electricity bill payment at Indira Park Substation.
look at the acting of these people. Sulabha Arya was so superb..so natural in acting....rather not a moment you feel that she is acting...so smooth and perfect...in Love with her .....Those people are gone with the time and now we are seeing the Bollywood people and call whatever they do as acting...such a shame..

And when the woman screams, they should insert the fish or chicken and let her tongue taste it. In medical science that's called shock treatment and it works all the time. In the video, I just wish that fish had entered in the lady's mouth and she gulped it. That would be real funny.

The only truth in the original comment made by *baisakhi saha* is with regards to blind faith. I agree with that. But I believe, when someone who really understands God, and really follows all the commandments of God, he/she then intentionally cannot be cruel to any creations of God. Finally saw a comment which echoed my thoughts exactly. Purifying your courtyard using gobar, purifying everything in the morning using ganga / krishna jal, gau Mutra Etc, These are Beautiful practices. It’s shown in an exaggerated way here to maybe highlight that the lady has gone cynical about it . But there is nothing wrong in following these practices. We have lost and forgotten so much of our tradition just by making a mockery of these practices

Watching this serial back in the 90's with entire family sitting together was such a fun. Now all are busy in their lives and watch everything on mobile phone..missing the 90's golden era
