Nice , a friend had a 71 or so XR 125 or 100 I don’t remember , with some performance parts , he could smoke everybody on the local mx track , well made bikes , very low use bike , you got a great find , adult owned your a m/c hoarder , living your dream , you go dude 👍
XR'S run in my family, My brother traded his skate Bourd for one in 75 or 76 It was a74 him and his friend Pushed it up and down the Giant hill in front of our house For about a week and it started, just before thay were Going to push it in the creek,, And rode that thing for 5 or 6 Years don't really happened To that one, but we were Hooked after, to shorten the Story, we went through some XR'S right my main is a 2012 XR 650l that I've been riding Since 2013 when I bought it New, now It's a 675cc 10.5 compression piston, Hotcam, In other words new Top End, Bike is very strong my brother Still has his 93 600 . Didn't mean to ramble on but That little bike U have there Brings back memories . Keep buying and trading Bikes. U know Y because XR'S RULE. Thanks from NOR-CAL.
I was kind of thinking maybe they put them on all kinds of bikes just because it’s what they had and they were trying to save cost. Such a cute little bike though.
My dad bought me a brand new 1977 Honda XR-75 and I can tell you those are not the original rear shocks as they did not have separate reservoirs. It cost $495.00 brand new from the dealer.
