hey guys today we have something special, my kids are getting older and I am looking into some serious dirt bikes for kids. This one is 2022 KTM 105cc build done for Caden, it was built by his dad with help from ‪@dirtbiketv1‬ and Docmxraring - check out the video and let me know what you think. How happy would you be to have this bike when you were 12??

yes, there are pretty much no options for kids woods bikes..

I completely agree, the first manufacturer to do so will make money back on that investment. I have been slowly converting my Boy's YZ 65 into an Off Road bike via flywheel weight, Lectron, and a FMF Turbine core. Now I am trying to come up with a kick stand.

I would also love a 100cc woods bike, or even better- a 80/85 Bigwheel/ 100/ 105/ 112 size (and weight) bike with a 125 motor and trail gearing + flywheel... I just heard that even the YZ 125X isn't even a woods bike, and it just has a kickstand and bigger rear tire? That's just too sad to be true.

I am building a KX105 Big Wheel from the Frame Up. It was supposed to be for my daughter, but ummmm it is ending up being tailored for me. Ha ha ha ha. She has her Non-Current YZ80's anyway. Ha ha ha ha.

@@dirtniron The power to weight ratio is crazy. When I was 125 Intermediate in the early 90's a kid rode a DK Racing (Dublin Kawasaki) Big Wheel Big Bore KX80 in the 125 Intermediate Class and I do not ever remember him having a finish out of the Top 5.

I remember being so stoked to get the 105cc kit for my 1983 KX80. Power to Weight a 105cc mini rates higher than a 125cc or 150cc. I raced the 125cc class at many off-road races and the 1983 Barstow to Vegas on that bike. There were no mini classes at off-road events back then.

It’s super fast indeed ! This bike need precautions if been rides by very young kids .. amazing .. kids cab grow up with it without needing to upgrade into larger 150 bikes

My problem with kids bikes is my son is 14 an he’s 6”2 230lbs , it’s very hard to figure out what to get him on I’m thinking maybe rmz250 ?

yes, he is definitely too big for a small wheel bikes, he needs full size bike. question is if he is strong enough to handle 250f.. maybe 125 would be little better?

@@dirtniron I had a little dirt bike accident and ended up breaking my knee/leg. Oto was working me up for some related complications and we started chatting about bikes, riding, etc. Truly is a small world.
