Your van builds stand top tier above the major brands! Wherein most corporate camper vans are badly engineered that ironically struggle to fit or, rather, possess a washable lavatory. How insane is that? But for your business and ingenuity, it's a no brainer! *GREAT JOB!*
At last! A van that has my priorities! Shower & toilet, no oven and no cooktop. Just give me a good sink like this one, and enough counter space for a hot plate. Only thing I'd add is a convection microwave. I don't need "workspace" because I'm (blissfully) retired. Love this.
Great job guys! The layout is fantastic. I love the bathroom and have not seen a short wheel base build out with one before. I don't know how so many van lifers live without one. The style is (as usual) completely top notch, kudos on another excellent build out :)
This is so nice..of course! Very elegant and simple. I’m excited for you two! You traveled in a van for two years, bought a house, now starting a family, and converting vans for others! WOW! And having experienced living in a van is even better cuz you can advise others having lived it! WOOOOOOW!!!!
Your van builds are always so sleek, smooth and to such a high finish, we love them! And the people who you build them for - they must be so pleased :D
Oh my word... I love how he required places for living plants and real books. (Swoon) I think I may need to meet this Edward! P.S. I’m only 5 ft so I’d fit on the short side of the van... 😂 (all that said in good fun) Okay, and for serious now - I love your conversions, Sara and Alex. Maybe I’ll be a client of yours one day. Super inspiring. All the best on your growing family and business. 🌈🙏🏼
Sara you’re adorable. Y’all are going to be awesome parents. I miss seeing your doggies 🐶🐶 This build is great and y’all did a wonderful job. Love to you guys 🧡
Love the van!! The only thing I would have liked as an extra is another window in the side of the van. But other than that, perfect and very clever. Great to see a shower room/ toilet.
Congratulations on your baby! You guys are such a beautiful couple, and do great work! This van looks great. I personally still like the colors on yours better the mint green is lovely
I'd love a van like this for travel, so I watch videos about them all the time, but I'm afraid to research them because I imagine once I see how much they cost, Ill feel completely defeated. This is an amazing build though!
I love it. That one is to perfect for my hubby and me! I'm only 4' 11" and my hubby is 5" 10". I want one like that but my hubby wants a big RV. I NEED TO SHOW HIM THIS VIDEO! You guys rock!!!💞
I have seen hundreds of videos about camper vans. This van is fantastic and the best one. Amazing job. Also the presentation. You guys deserve all the success.
I really like that you guys covered the side panel where the front top shelf sits. The one right above the curtain. A lot of people miss that and you guys did a great job it's all in the details and you guys nailed it!
Really like your layout for a Sprinter144 finally a video that addresses my interest and you did a fantastic job! I am interested in converting a 144 Sprinter. What is your wait time?
I think the design, especially a full sized shower into a fairly small van, is just great! Very skilled designers Ive been wondering about whether to buy a MWB or a LWB to get fitted out. I need an office and if i get ideas I need to fly outa bed and get it down. So its either an office or a bed. Unless I get a LWB. No making the bed each night. Office always there.
Another excellent build out and video! I’m looking forward to the Promaster build out as that’s my van of choice. Thanks for what you do and fingers crossed for a safe and speedy delivery!
Really enjoyed this video. I can't believe how much you squeezed into this van …. what an awesome build. On another note …. my son and I have eaten 3 of the 6 meals from Home Chef and really enjoyed them. Thanks for introducing us to this company! Let's talk soon.
No bthrm sink again IC. U can install a drop-down one that drains 2 the floor...install a deck-floor so it dries faster, and put a bracket on the wall 2 attache the shower-sprayer, so no nead 4 a separate fawset and plumming. 🤷♀️
Great build out. A few questions: Could you install a composting toilet where the urine (and compost) could be removed and dumped without the need of a holding tank. I want to avoid holding tanks. Could a counter be installed that had covers for both sink and stovetop? Could the bed be raise to create a long storage area in the middle? You guys do great work. Thank you
have you heard of Natures Head, C-head, or AirHead? They are all composting toilets that you do not need a holding tank in your van. you just regularly empty the pee jug. No plumbing required. We have a review on our channel on the Natures head: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pe3BrgZcu1A.html (Spoiler alert, we love it, it is worth it's weight in gold in regards to vanlife, tiny living, or just the eco-conscious consumer) We are excited to give a review on the c-head (in the newest build that we are currently building). Not too many people go with the C-head, but the best part about the c-head is that you can switch out the pee jug with any gallon jug, not just the proprietary pee jug (like the natures head and the AirHead) that you must rebuy if you don't want it to get too rank smelling. if you have a composting toilet, you know the smell isn't ever the poop. It is always the rank pee. Pee mixing with your solids is actually what makes all that business smell, if you keep it separate it shouldn't smell at all.
@@SaraandAlexJames Yup. The Laveo dry flush electric self-bagging toilet is the best way to go for no muss-no fuss. More expensive with bags of course but seamless. Have you guys experimented with them?
Congrats on the baby Sara & Alex...This is no doubt another beautiful van/home. I never liked the toilet in shower combo...But must say...You did a very beautiful job all around. So this made me think twice. Thanks once more for sharing this beauty. :)) #ManyBlessings
Why don't you guys install Maxxair Delux fans, so the clients can leave them open when raining? The 'rain sensor' fantastic models seem backwards to me, when it's raining and humid is when I want the fans running!
This would be perfect for me when I'm in California and to take road trips in the summer with my 5 year old grandson. The only thing I might change is having the table almost the same height as the kitchen counter and a small pull out counter on the side of the countertop to make a little extra corner counter, food processing space. If that makes sense. I also have ideas about the kitchen being in the back for an outside type kitchen, opening the back doors. Yet that might take away from the self contained aspect of the whole design. (Maybe put the faucet on one side?) Idk. Anywho, I would love for you guys to build me a custom designed van. That would be epic...
Your missing a trick, go full off grid rain capture , water filter , diesal heater thermostat, small log burner, solar induction portable twin top, tiny watts heated floors s and 1000 watt roof deck with storage and 2nd alternator battery bank in rear boxes on outside and 250 ltr water tank + 4x4 sprinter :)
Pat ti I think the bench provides more storage space! Storage space is more important than floor space in a mobile home, and the Murphy bed would only provide extra floor space.
Alex and Sara small doubt- could you install a lift bed as well in this van? Is there any space left over the bottom bed to install a lift bed? And wishing good luck to the coming baby🥳
This is my favorite! Is it possible to add a little extra space in the van bathroom to divide the shower and toilet? Like a separate shower and toilet room?
Sara & Alex, I have two kids and absolutely love this van, ANY chance you can make the front seat with a double seat that also swivels?? I Have seen this popular seat in Europe. This would SOLVE my 3 seater problem and not take away space. Is that doable???
Cute couple. And a fantastic built-in campervan. Love from india. I found the right design for mine. Will definitely work more harder to make enough money to get this one built-in for me.
Hi Sara and Alex, for Sprinter 144 conversion, this is almost approaching perfection in term of configuration. But I have several suggestions for you and maybe for the future clients: I really think that having a two-seater bench up front is important. It creates a dinette/lobby area (bench + swivel tables + driver/passenger swivel seats) that is more functional. It create a new space area flow throughout the whole configuration. But that said, we need the full shower room. That is a feature we do not want to compromise. I would suggest to reduce the shower room to only as wide as the toilet seat. And the rest of the shower room is hidden underneath the bench seat. When you need to take a shower, turn on the switch to elevated the bench seat up to reveal the rest of the shower room. The shower room is covered in drape. The tracks are hidden behind bench wall. And the wall can be push out to reveal the toile and shower heads. Need to be automatic though. Must not do it manually … it will drive people nuts after several days. 2) Between the bed and the shower room, I would suggest creating an office counter with cabinets. This counter will serve as night stand, laundry counter, family pictures and just a place to put your laptop if you don't want to sit down. To make it feel more spacious, I would suggest to create a small window. And add a small overhead microwave (slot it in the first cabinet next to the shower room). 3) I don't know why you don't use a hydraulic leg for the bed area. It is much more easily to just push it down and create the bed area. Moving table leg and slotting table top every single night (and reverse the process every morning) will drive people nuts! I love you guys! Hope I could see a two-seater bench converting to half of the shower room. That will be great!
Where will he store his clothes? The wardrobe for the telescope seems rather small, I expected there to be one of the cabinets above the bed to serve for clothes-storage...?
Hi Sara & Alex If you could do a build out that included a home dialysis system/ full bathroom/ shore power connections/ clean water system & solar power how would you do the layout?
Love how the bed was designed! It always makes me cringe when I see a van design that the bed takes up half the van and can only be in bed mode seems like a waste of space.
It's gorgeous although I don't quite understand why you'd put tiles in campervan. Surely any additional unnecessary weight you add is something you'll be paying for in fuel over time?
Hi guys. Amazing camper. I am 5’10. Is it possible to sleep side to side ? Also, are you guys taking orders? If so, how long does it take to deliver a camper just like that one in the video? An estimate price ? Please. Congratulations on the birth of your baby James. Wishing you guys long life full of happiness, good health and success.
Beautiful job! This might be a dumb question, but is there any reason the bathroom is not built out on the opposite side of the van near the door? Is there just not enough space?
Is it possible to do a 2 bench like you have in the video with longer dimensions? For example; 75in bench instead of the 70in bench you have? My husband is 6’3 and I want to make sure he will be comfortable in the 144
with 'optional' rear 'Side Flares' offered in Sprinters..could they be 'installed'...so the occupant(s)..could sleep East-West..instead of North-South'? other than that ...GREAT 'use of space'... 'Love' the Full Wet Shower/Toilet in you van's in the '144WB'!! ...is this the 4X4 144WB 'Sprinter'?....Cheers.
