The Vanderhall Laguna brought up a good point by not having a stereo but Bluetooth speakers. With nearly everyone having a smart phone a traditional head unit is unnecessary.
I'll stick with the slingshot. Despite only using a motor out of a Pontiac Solstice and stripped of it's turbo, I'd still get one (and then reinstall the turbo). Most fun I've had whipping around mountain roads
Love my Spyder RT Limited's. Presently on my 4th one. My credit union is basically leasing these things to me: financed at 10 years...payment is low, so I make double payments...FICO score shoots up. I drive the hell outta these bikes for a couple years, trade it in, get the next model! Would love to be Can Am's official spokesman.
Love the 3 wheels, 2 seats, with nipy engine but they shouldn't pass $7 or $10 k mark! Otherwise I find it pointless!! Also an introduction of air con and heat will be perfect for true evey day city use! Otherwise, I'd rather take a chevy spark! 1.4 engine and more practical.

The vanderhall leguna car is the only one who made a 3 wheel car and made it sexy. I am a amateur automobile designer and even though its still a bit gaudy its still nicer than most.
5:05 the elio I put money down on that car 5 years ago and it has yet to meet its deadline goals every year it gets a new dead line. It was supposed to be out in 2013-2014. I don’t think it will ever get off the ground. I did get a T-shirt but I would have rather got the car 1st then a memorabilia items.

LarockOwns, yea, it looks bleak for Elio, but, all he has to do is start making cars, He should be able to handle that debt without a problem.. It's what's knows as a 'Cliff hanger" .. I give Elio an "A" for effort though.. He's not quiting.. The P5 is cheaper than a Motorcycle, if he still offers the credit card financing he was talking about, He'll sell Millions of P5s..

Those Can Am products get horrendous fuel economy due to their inferior snowmobile engines. They should have partnered with a motorcycle company and used a better drivetrain.

There was another car called the Alias. The designer attempted to begin building in a Detroit factory, but could not get enough backing. Now built in China by Jonway.
Nice Video, I can't believe they put the Elio trike on here.. It's never been produced yet.. Elio is so close, yet so far.. Elio Motors stock price has gone from a high of $40. to $3. now.. Mostly cuz it's taking so long to get his money together.. Elio might be out of business before he's sold anything.

Is the Spyder not considered a 'trike' rather than a car - or does the two wheels up front change that? Also - do you have to wear a helmet when driving this?
Can-Am classifies it as a "roadster". DMV's categorize them as motorcyles: Class M on driver's license and motorcyle handling class mandatory. If you're thinkin' of a model, I highly recommend the RT Limited. Spyders rock!
You've forgotten about Grinnal they have been making the Scorpion 3 for years and is available in turn key or kit form, it is also stupid fast as it is based on the mechanics of a BMW K series motorbike
