Y'all are so awesome. Just from your views on this video, we were able to hit the studio in February 2018 for two days to record our "debut" EP after 10 years!! Check it out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uNFTfudBJJA.html. Thank y'all so much for the support!! We're going to continue writing and raising money for a full-length album which will be SURE to include some more acoustic epicness. We may or may not get a Kickstarter going eventually, but hopefully we can just continue using the ad money we generate from our RU-vid videos and other music outlets to keep making music for y'all!
Sorry guys, I don't know why it took me 15 years to send you congrats on this beautiful raw masterpiece. After all, i keep coming here on at least a weekly basis since shortly after you posted it. I hope you guys are both doing well
I'm from italy,I'm here after 15 years at the age of 30. I'd like to know who they are,i have never known their names, where i can find their songs now? They are famous now?
This video reminded me so much of me and my cousins in our teenage years trying to play heavy metal songs with acoustic guitars as we can't afford to buy electric guitars. Those were the days.
Haha same bro, I used to try to down-tune my acoustic to drop c to play all the music I like & it'd have spaghetti strings 😂. Got a beautiful electric from my grandpa that passed away now though
Dudeeee those were the days. My friend used to have an olddddd off brand acoustic with a lightning bolt painted on it and fret buzz to all hell and I used to try playing songs off rust in peace on it 😂
The memories of when we were young with our friends, playing music that we enjoyed. The times when metal was all we wanted to do. I still play now and then but it would be nice to play those past songs all over with the homies
@@biggangster5898 If you guys like acoustic Rock Guitar, Stop by my channel and check out a few of my original acoustic rock songs I uploaded 10 years ago. I'm trying to revive my page, I put alot of heart into those songs, you may not like the acoustic grunge sound, but at least you wont have to hear me sing, lol. If not, that's cool too. Thanks guys appreciate it!
Not only are you guys talented as hell at shredding but your composing and arranging skills are freaking amazing! Yall sound like you have been writing and playing for 30 or 40 years.Stick with it! You 2 are going places!🤘👊🤘
Man it's been years since I discovered this video and I still come back every once in a while just because of how incredibly fucking awesome this piece is. I'd fucking kill for a properly recorded and mixed/mastered version of this to listen to.
+Pythagoras Mom Don't like to promote this person's page since they kind of took our songs off iTunes when it was on there, but here is a studio recorded version of the song. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-h1pTV51oJeg.html. Thanks!
Man that makes me sad to hear. Im an amature comic myself and this is why i dont post any material online, big fish eat little fish. Life is cruel when material u wrote on some love trip with ur bro and some asswipe steals riff for riff and chord for chord and u have to sit there like this enjoyable to hear.
Oh hey man, if you want it down, I'll gladly do so. Message me or something man. I provided links to this channel, your facebook and myspace. I mean no harm. I just don't want to see good music disappearing.
Dude honestly I still have no idea how he does it! Neither of us even know anything about music but he just rips the shit out of it! Thanks for watching, man!
DreadnotMusic Lmao that's epic. That's how I am with vocals... Don't ask me to define harmonies and the technicalities of screaming... Just tell me what you want sang or screamed haha looking forward to what else you guys come out with 🤘🤘
For me and my ears it sounds at some parts like irish folk music that is played in all pubs round Ireland plus some very powerfull, new licks. Very good and hearable music.
Although, from my very limited knowledge, I think Irish Folk Music is on average more jolly, cheery, and playful; whereas metal is more gloomy, sinister, and ominous. You just have to apply Schmoyoho's "Can this sad song be made happy" and "Can happy song be made sad" and then they're pretty much the same genre, I assume. Metal music with no distortion sounds like surf music - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dVqqWUyDPzA.html here's the video.
THANK YOU ALL for the amazing support. We've been humbled by each and every comment over the past few years. Unfortunately, adult life is a big bitch, and thus we had to take a hiatus. Over the last couple of months, though, we've been getting together with a few of our long-time friends and making music again. Here's a snippet from the latest live outing we had (our first in 5 years!) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-10y4iKdXkEc.html Thanks again for your support, and we look forward to rocking face once again :)
I was here 7 years ago. Was playing a ton of metal and wanted to do an acoustic metal and found this. It's an understatement to say I was inspired by you guys. Thanks for rocking.
I discovered your video like one year ago and didn't comment yet. During this year i return to this again and again and i am still impressed. I've seen lot of guitar covers, people ridiculously talented but you guys are special. Maybe you're not playing insanely fast song, maybe you're not famous, and your video is not recorded with professional camera but there is something more in this song that i cannot explain - i just can feel it. And i think i am not the only one with my thoughts. Proof? Almost 10 yesrs after publishin this video it has been not forgotten and a lot of new and old people come to see it again. Even if i would have heard it in 2009 i would be still your fan! Thanks for this song guys.
I 100% agree with this post. It's the best acoustic piece ever in my opinion. Now if you'll excuse me I need to supress my boner and change my pants again.
I remember listening to this song in high school, and now I am almost 30, and this shit still rocks just as hard as it did back then. Tons of musicians would be lucky to have such talent. Absolutely phenomenal work, and it looks like it was recorded on a Nikon handheld camera. I'd love to see a fully produced version of this song, especially if ya'll added vocals, drums, and bass to it.
I've been listening to metal for years guys and not gonna lie when I say that what you've created is nothing short of amazing. Made me get those feelings I felt when I was just a kid sitting around listening to Sepultura Pantera Metallicas first four albums and everything that makes up the fabric of the music near and dear to me that goes by the name of heavy metal keep it up guys it's good for the soul.3
if this is in fact original then my hat goes off to you guys. very well done. would love to hear it with distortion and drums. i literally sat here singing and making up vocals on the spot and it was awesome. first time hearing it and it was as if you guys progressed the song exactly how i would have so the vocals came easy. love it A++++++++
@@gminor6288 I have a few acoustic grunge/rock tracks I uploaded 10 years ago you guy's might like. Stop by and check it out sometime if you want, If not, that's cool too!
That smile at 2:11 reminds me of all the times my friends and I would jam and the music just takes over your emotions, you can't help but flash the biggest cheese
As an acoustic lover and metal lover, this is the stuff I live for. Saw this years ago at the beginning of my guitar journey, and it still moves me just as much. Thank you guys
Found this 11 years ago thought was awesome. Now 11 years later I come across this. Awesome to listen this again. What an amazing work you guys have done!
I love how I always think of this every couple years and all I have to do is search “Acoustic Metal” and it’s right there at the top. Incredible tribute! Where you guys at these days?. Probably playing for Seether or Pantera, no??
2024 and this is better still than anything on the radio and it has 0 words.... my husband once stayed up really late smoke some gas and wrote lyrics to this breaking the Storm down and all .... wish he still had it
Purposeful dissonance it's intentional and if they that makes up a good song then these boys are at least talented if not just really knowing there stuff and I'm not sure but I think they went outside of just the classic 4 chord progressions
You guys proved that metal does not need electricity, but merely conduct it and amplify it! Very cool stuff, honestly. Sounds like something an angry shaman would come up with and play in the dead of night. Edit: Now that I think about it, banging rocks and clicking shells would make for great percussion for this music.
+FernTheRU-vidr lamb of god sounds good with two stix and a rock. it's all about rhythm and harmony. they have a chemistry most will only have within themselves
I wouldn't say they're the best, in fact I'd never say only one player or band is best. Although guys like Michael Bhatias is the devil he can play anything. It's scary. But lamb is always on my playlist one that only grows
This reminds me of my older brother and I so much... When you have chemistry with someone and youre both playing instruments together, something amazing happens i swear. You come up with the baddest riffs ever and if you don't record it, its gone forever lol. God i miss him...
I'll have to admit at first I thought it was just noise, but you turned it all around. Great job you guys. Very well played. Do either of you have the equipment to record that music? PC, and a cable (Cakewalk Software at Best Buy comes with the cable and software) for like 40 bucks, you guys could make your own CD's... Keep up the good work, beautiful harmonics!
Not bad at all fellas just come across this vid for the 1st time & I say fuck yeah!! love the rawness of acoustics I'm a drummer have been for over 20 yrs. rock on keep that shit up \m/
You guys deserve a record deal! Now that's what I call REAL music! Today's music is trash!! Most of today's record company's won't get you in the business because they're dicks!! I wish you guts good luck in getting your music on the radio
Will Butter by today's music you mean generally mainstream stuff like rap correct? There are a lot of bands/musicians to this day that are still killing it.
