What a shame that no one wanted to adopt him after all he has been through. Very glad that he now has his forever home. It may have taken over 2 years but it was worth it. You do so much for the animals, rescuing them, getting to the vets for treatments and then making sure they get adopted. When they are you drive or fly them to their new homes. GOD Bless you Viktor for all that you do for the animals in your care. GOD Bless the Vets and Staff for helping all the animals that you and your team rescue.

Ah, dear Charlie looks so happy in his new home. I was pleased that the people in his new home all seemed to really love him. So happy for him. Again, thank you for all you, and the whole team do, to help as many as possible. It's hard for me to imagine people who don't want black dogs, but I see the comments here, so guess it has to be true. I would never think of Charlie as a black dog, since to me, he has lovely markings of a husky. He is such a sweet dog, and funny!

I can honestly say that Charlie is a most handsome dog. I find it hard to believe that no one wanted him 😯 I myself have 2 black rescue dogs, both different breeds, both such different characters but both so loving. They are both getting old now, our lab is called “Charlie” too, he’s 11 yrs old. Our black huntaway cross is now 13 yrs old. I hope your Charlie can now enjoy the rest of his life with his new family. Best wishes!

Dear Viktor, I've thought about trying to adopt "smiling Charlie with his happy face and big ears", for several months but adopted my second rescue just 3mos ago. I was getting some healthy dog treats and she had just arrived with about 12 dogs and cats from a Texas rescue. I am in New Jersey, USA...... about 20 minutes from Manhattan. So, next thing I knew, she was standing in crate looking up at me. She is a Chihuahua/ Shitzu mix. I used to do All-Breed Rescue, since the 80's. But life changed, my marriage dissolved, financially things took a nose dive, my Mom was very sick and died. Five of the dogs I had rescued, I adopted because just couldn't give them away, loved them too much. Over time, they eventually died, they lived into the teens, but one by one they passed. I was left with a huge vet bill, and a hole in my heart. When the last one died, my partner at the time didn't want me to get any more dogs. We weren't living together but were always together. One day, a rescue baby was outside a store I just came out of and, 3 hrs later, I left with my new baby, who was very happy, as was I. But my partner was not because he said he was jealous of the dog, rescued from a kill shelter in California!! JEALOUS OF AN 18LB. BABY. The 3 mos I went without a dog, was the first time with no dog since 1976! I WAS MISERABLE, and he just didn't understand, " qui m'aime, aimes mon chien"......"who loves me, loves my dog(s). He knew that!! I tried everything, and let him re-name him from the shelter name....from Bouncer, he became Oscar, after his cat who had passed. When we split up, he became Ozzie....Oscar Ozzie❤💓❤💘💕. I don't regret adopting my Ozzie. You've just got to be able to give them medically, anything they might need. I thought about a playmate, some company that Ozzie would have if I was working. Knew I was still paying Animal Hospital but after 4 yrs, adopted little Jessie Mae, rescued from Texas, owner had died and she was neglected in all ways....emaciated, mange covering her both back legs and rectal area spreading to stomach and her back, around her tail. It was not the contagious, sarcoptic mange, but she had been covered in fleas, and just had her last treatment. So now my current partner/friend does not want me to visit and stay over by the mountains and beautiful lakefront small cottage with my 2 dogs....1 is 10lbs, the other is 22 lbs. Anyway, it makes me very, very, sad. This was our weekend plan every weekend, and Ozzie loved it and he cares for Ozzie. He doesn't walk them, even at nite, I must take a stick, bear spray and flashlight or headlamp. His cottage is just a tiny rented cottage and I never expect him to help, but the nite walk is alittle scary. He is also up at 4 to 5 AM and I need to sleep, so would be nice if he would just take them for that first short walk.... and I do everything else for them myself....they are my dogs, my responsibility, but he says he is such a dog lover and has had dogs in the past. So sorry to go no and on...... First of all, am in USA, long trip, didn't know till you just came to US to do adoption that it could be done, and then there was a large sudden expense for Ozzie, thousands, that was hard to do. Could I really adopt Charlie, as much as I wanted ?? Must be a responsible owner. Anyway, Charlie looks like he has a great home and will keep on smiling!! Thank you for that, Victor, again :)) Watching your channel while you are on vacation with your family. A well deserved vacation......you asked us to watch more to support channel so I am. I make sure I watch as much as possible. At least 5 full videos everyday, with 👍👍👍, am already subscribed and a Patreon member. Yay, for Charlie...Victor, my heritage comes from Sweden, although I am American. I am very proud of my Scandinavian heritage. I would like to say this, tack så mycket, which is many thanks, in Swedish!!! You and your staff just amaze me.

It might be a little bit about being a black dog but I doubt it in this case. As I remember, Charlie had not been featured as much as some other dogs. Forgive me if I've missed something. Charlie is a beautiful dog with a big smile on his face and a tail that keeps wagging. As adoptions go, most of the time it's love, sometimes it's fate. Charlie had to wait longer for the right person to come along. When I watch the young man walk Charlie, everything feels so right, like a right match. Congrats to Charlie and his new family in Copenhagen.
