A really great list, lots to choose from. 👏 But I have a question regarding the Escapement time's price (and potentially other watches). Every time you show it the price is 79$. Every time I open the app or go on Ali in browser, the price is 98$. How are the prices different, why? I checked your videos regarding prices and sales, but this isn't connected with that. So I don't get it, how are the prices different? Is it because of the location of the buyer or something like that?

Re-watching to stick a couple in my basket for the sale. Had to say got number 6 the benyar has been my work/diy watch for months and gotta say I love it! Taking a right battering and not skipped a beat! There’s a place for these cheaper watches. They just need to be honest!!

They breach trademark as the Italian car company owns the pagani trademark for watches… I can’t risk losing a second channel for another trademark infringement

I've got the SD1970 'Willard' and literally the only surface not 100% perfect is between the lugs, which you can't see unless you go looking on purpose.

Good list! I'm really interested in the new Pagani Design Speedmaster, with the sale it's going to be around $80. I don't care for the white date wheel on the black dial version, would prefer it with no date at all, really, but I'm thinking it's going to be better quality than the Corgeut version. For some reason I just don't trust Corgeut.

I received my PD Speedmaster homage this week and mine does have a black date wheel with white numbers so while it still has a date window it's not as glaringly obvious so possibly more acceptable to purists who would prefer it was no date

This is an accumulation of 2 years spent trawling through watches on AliExpress…two thirds of the watches in this category were left out so this is the best 35 out of around 100 costing up to just over $100

Like the look of the seagull "nomos a like" lovely clean lines and finishing on the 1963 is a great way to go You can get these pretty cheap if you get a yukky nato and go acrylic not sapphire and a swan neck less st 1901 it's a great looking watch and I love mine

Hi buddy, great result for your boys against mine! The movement is a Hangzhou 2b00, non hacking hand wind movement, I had mine over a year no issues with it!

How was it determined that Benyar don’t use stainless steel? I’m curious as to how you test for genuine stainless. I know how sapphire crystal is tested, but not the casing. I’m very new to all this! Cheers!

There have been quite a few videos where people have chopped them in half,sawed them and even shot them with a gun sometimes the case backs are stainless to justify their listing but basically the watch head looks like a cars bumper that has been chrome plated a bit too perfect for a watch of that caliber Happy Hunting my friend

It makes me wonder if Pagani are trustworthy, as Benyar seem to be tied to them.. they are on Pagani’s website, but I don’t really know much about the link.

@@ilikewatches Would you trust Pagani, based on this? I was looking at the Pagani Aqua Terre homage, which looks stunning in photos on the website, but don’t know whether to go for it now. I think it’s going to ge about $80 in the sale. Do you pay an import fee on Ali stuff? I’ve never used them, and am trying to choose my first watch (aside from my daily use Citizen Promaster) to start a collection. Thanks for all you do.. I really enjoy your videos!

I get why you dont feature them but no such list is complete without at least 1 or maybe 4 pagani designs. That meteorite one seems incredible. Also when did the ET Type B change to an NH38? Mine has an NH35. Also please do another video best watches $250 or under.

Thanks Gary. So we now have 2 videos featuring 45 watches to consider on the Ali Express sale. I notice that there was not even one Pagani Design recommendation. I see Cadison, Berny, even Parnis with multiple mentions and poor old Pagani gets no love at all. I found this a little curious considering some of the 2021 models released. Are you not a fan?

Yeah BENYAR really shot them self in the foot with the whole stainless steel case fiasco. It's a shame too because some Benyar watches were nice especially for the price. I still won't buy one.

Sorry Gary but watches with cheap chinese quartz mechanisms like the Benyars are not good affordable watches. They are bound to become garbage in a very short time. I had one and i can attest with much confidence for that...
