Have to agree. My g&p stoner 63 was a nightmare to get working. Aoe was screwed out of the box, it kept jamming and eating pistons and the air seal was horrible. Aoe just needed a new cylinder head but the hop unit is screwed and i have to use 80 degree rubbers so it doesn't jam. A perun nozz-x fixed the airseal somewhat. Had some rockset to make sure it doesn't move. Ever. Added some short stroking, a warfet and a warhead motor. About 30k bbs through it now, its been 100%. Even played a winter game in -14c temps last weekend. Still 100%. Way too expensive. But i needed a stoner 63.
I feel your pain man. My Stoner also had air seal issues and the piston didn't want to sit right in the gb. The main issue for the air seal were the gears (replaced them with standard Cyma gears with NO GEAR DELAYER). The other problem was the inner barrel retaining clip - it didn't do it's job wel and the barrel moved back and forwards. But it's a badass replica!
@@iamzeusv2 yes, I'm using a aftermarket inner barrel (Deepfire) and Maple leaf Monster hop rubber. I have no problemes with feeding and the barrel is stable in hop unit (used some teflon tape to secure it)
Would actually be very good for cyma to do a L1A1 SLR with a sr25 gearbox to dominante ares one and force them to shut down. Ares needs to go into administration big time as all there doing is given us shite and then making sure we can't upgrade it nor modify to put better parts in it
@user-qi8gu8rj6e jg may be good but atm cyma platinum is kinda dominating but having a L1A1 SLR with a sr25 gearbox would better then a version 3 as it has the long ass cylinder. Atm cyma is making quite Few different aegs and there making there own first full auto aeg aa12 or aa2 shotgun I can't remember what it's called but anyway cyma is expanding alot into aegs, snipers and etcand I would love to see them make a aeg with Blowback, bullpups and sig mcx and the mpx.

And well the father inlaw assaulted Argy positions during the falklands with one, he did not just to sit back and pop at them lol it was used in urban areas of northern Ireland in the 70's too to the jungles of Belize The L1a1 was designed for all types of fighting and also was used as a sharpshooters rifle.

I've got 2 of these, one the gear box in peice as I lost patience trying to get it back together, this after a local shop had rebuilt it and it striped the sector gear. The second one intermittent full autos on semi. Do you fancy doing this to both of them. I love and hate them in equal measure, but one an aussie bitch gun and it just looks so fucking cool I don't want to sell it.
hey, was just wondering what exactly happened to that hopup? did the bucking burst a hole in iteslf and destroy the hop up? I'm getting one of these soon as its literally the only gun on the market that will fit my kit, and I'd like to avoid what this gun did if at all possible.
Wire management is hard... Like i once tried to have a bigger battery on my tm mp5k, it stuck, and i couldnt get it out without disassembling. Having handled some obscure (real) guns with ease, i wasnt having an easy time with that. Also fuck loctite, my friend wanted to change the hop rubber on his cyma m4a1, and all the screws where glued in, at that point he can burn every plastic bit or leave it
What mosfet is that one? Been searching Perun and google for it. Saw you throw one in an SVD and i'm hoping I can you one in my SVU and i dont have to HPA it. Really don't want to HPA it but the gun is going to eat itself if i dont get it running perfectly.
I always have a whale of a time Can confirm v3 hybrid works in microswitch gearboxes but yeahhh definitely only do that to your own gearbox lol, lots of dremel work very close to tappet guide etc., not worth it lol especially now that those other Peruns are available
It's unfortunate such a beautiful gun comes out of the box garbage. Wish there was a company who made high quality OG FALs and the SA-58s. Would be nice to get parts for my Echo 1 SA-58. but fuck me in the ass for liking the FAL!

Get yourself an impact driver, takes different screwdriver bits, you whack it with a hammer and it scares the shit out of the screw and the screw let’s go because of fear!
