You can definitely tell its not a passion but a way of life. But the fact that one man is handmaking guitars for his country is respected. Thank you sir id love to see your high end process
Yeah but it's also given people like me who have never built one, a good concept of the process. I will look at many videos on YT and then see whether I will have the courage to try building one myself. I'd like to know how to build the shape /moulding piece that he's got and see what many other types there are. A good lil start for me lol
I am stunned at the comments, let's get this straight, this is not a guitar. It's a replica guitar for someone who want's a wall hanging, or a fun door stop.
As a guitarist, playing guitars like Furch, Martin, and Taylor... it was a little bit hard to watch. When he just used the staple gun to hold it temporarily together, I knew it was not going to be a top-noch instrument. Having said that, I would love to buy such a guitar a hang it on a wall as a reminder of what an elitist jerk I am. Still, it is a fine example of what a human being can achieve in such poor conditions. And I bet, they have plenty of fun playing that thing... most likely more fun than I will ever experience.
Not even a good carpenter. Poor finishing... Pathetic way to glue... Even the sound board braces are not well configured. Not even a 5 percent of a luthier. It hurts my eyes and feeling. No fretboard radius configuration at all. Those strings are buzzing.. Sad
@@RockyTop85 lol, that's a pretty big if... I highly doubt someone is going to eyeball frets and have intonation. Likewise his drill made something best described as "holeish" when installing the tuners. The bride glue was haphazardly applied and didn't even extend to the edges of the bottom of the bridge.... Considering even well-glued bridges can lift, this seems like a problem .. last, the bracing pattern is that of a toy, not an instrument.... I would expect x bracing if steel string, else fan or lattice for nylon...
very creative, this guy simplified guitar lutherie in a rustic set up, I can imagine him with the right tools and jigs with the right tonewoods, true handmade not CNC production tools.
I never could have imagined how heartless and indifferent is the workman, he is working in a routine with no fear of breaking or destroying the wood lol
The problem is that he is selling fake guitars. If he would ever bring his guitar up to pitch, is would self-destruct. The tension would pull is apart.
It's jast great, I never thought that a guitar was made so cool ! The guitar itself is jast a bomb! Respect to the master!
Amazing skills, I would buy one of these as a work of art and a humble reminder of what honest men and women do around the world every day to feed their families.
Saudações do Brasil!
Dude's workshop is neat as a pin, no piles of sawdust and junk cluttering every square inch. Shows that he has great attention to detail. I'd buy a guitar from him
OK, so it's the kind of guitar you would find at a garage sale for $10. Plastic cheap-o bridge, cheap wood, painted on fretboard, no fret dressing, nailed in plastic nut, ladder bracing, red and black interior house paint. But hey, the guy is a craftsman in a third-world country, using tools that were used in the 1700's, building a guitar from scratch while sitting on a dirt floor. I commend him and his craftsmanship! And if I had that guitar, I would cherish it.
@@HittingImageI think some parts are not shown in the video, like the frets distance setting . Its hard to imagine a guy can make and sell out of tune guitars for a living.
@@HittingImage i dunno about the selling stuff of these type of guitar but it isn't playable or it isn't an acoustic guitar could be Hawaiian Guitar but this ain't no acoustic guitar. I play acoustic guitar and this is way to cheap to be one or it is a toy. I was wheezing the whole time while watching it.
I admire and respect this man a true craftsman we are not talking high class concerto guitars here so don't judge but this is a Great guitar for beginners and the hobby musician
Not really. He is not even measuring the bridge position, so the guitar will ne impossible to tune. Which would not help anyways, as he has not levelled the frets, so it is unplayable. This is a display piece, at best.
I'm trying to work out if this is one of those, "just because you can. ..doesn't mean you should" kind of moments. Yep, I'm leaning heavily on the "Hell Yes" side.
