Question, since you mentioned both the heating pads and the space heater. What impact does the heat have on the stain? And does it require more than just her body heat to stain? Looks seriously intricate and gorgeous btw
Heat can help darken the final colour of the stain, just applying it to your skin and letting it sit for a while will result in at least some level of colour transfer. There are a handful of things you can do to help make it darker though
It is used traditionally in Arab, south Asian and some African cultures for weddings and special events but other people can ofc use it if you think it’s pretty and practice cool designs on yourself
That is crazy beautiful. Im very full of tattoos and i would kill to get something like that tattooed on me. That kind of artwork deserves to be appreciated for life ❤
So beautiful ❤I bought that stuff 20 years ago and never did it. I think I might still have but for now I’m going to watch and learn 😊 your work is absolutely amazing ❤
This is just incredible! What is the history of henna? Like was it started to spoil the bride so they can't do anything while her Henna is staining? It's absolutely gorgeous but the family taking care of the bride while the henna sets seems like part of it. Idk.
The heat distribution also has an impact people tend to be warmer at their hands and fingers than they are on their arms and heat helps darken the colour
So you know those chairs at the salon that they use to heat your head? I wonder if something like that would help the henna stain. Maybe go over it with a gentle blow dryer? Idk, ive only seen henna shorts on youtube. Dont know anything but your videos.
Hi there! I’ve recently started doing jagua! Do you have any recommendations for getting the gel so smooth? When I mix and freeze I’m having a lot of problems with air bubbles in my gel! Also, do you recommend the henna cones? I’m currently using an applicator bottle.
My fear is that my face will get itchy and I’ll touch my face with my hand smearing the stuff on my hand and getting it on my face bc I almost did that once 😭
I think henna is so beautiful. If anyone could tell me though, is it…I guess disrespectful or rude to get it done for no reason? I know people do it for special occasions and as part of their culture, so I was wondering if it’s like I’m taking away from someone’s beautiful culture if I get it done just because I think it’s pretty. Idk, hopefully this makes sense. 💕💕
I want these because they look absolutely amazing but 1. Idk where to get them. 2. I don't know the culture behind this or why it's done. (Is it just for weddings orr?) 3. I don't want to be rude or anything by getting this eithout being apart of this culture.
Ahh weird question do you know how to get henna off face? Anyone? I accidentally fell asleep while having henna on my hands and now my face has henna. I tried to get rid of it but there’s a few spots on my face that has henna 😭 I have to go to my classes and I also have a lab!
Sorry, there is no way to remove them. Conceal them with makeup until they fade off, and next time you do henna cover it with mefix tape or with hipafix once the paste dries so you can safely sleep with it on
i have a question. would i white girl getting henna for her wedding be appropriate ? because it’s like a cultural thing so would someone without that culture only participating for the wedding be offensive?
