Your videos are highly instructive, and i appreciate your careful explanation of HTML coding. One suggestion I have is that you first show the desired effects before you explain how you created them.
I can't spend more time on this - it's been hours and I've lost so much of my original content I can't get back in the process. Please tell me - do we need the "design tools" LTI to make your programming work? Because it's not working - not even when meticulously copied (and we don't have "design tools").
You shouldn't need Design Tools or Cidilabs. My institution doesn't have that. Try hopping over to www.howtocanvas.com/create-amazing-pages-in-canvas/background-css Copy/paste that code onto your Canvas page. Don't try to type it out meticulously, just highlight and copy it exactly (please steal from me). I just pasted it onto one of my Free 4 Teachers courses and it worked just fine. Once it's there you can try tinkering with the settings.
Because of this comment, I've decided that next month I will deliver a webinar on this topic so that people can see the demonstration and ask questions. Check for that in the Canvas Community in the coming days. community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructure-Live/eb-p/instructurelive
@@HowToCanvas Pease remember Deaf Instructors rely on captions, so moving the mouse at light speed and reading captions at the same time is a challenge.
