I bought a maker, no previous experience with a cutter, planned to use for machine applique, etc. Started watching your tutorials and they have really helped me learn my machine. Along the way I made gorgeous cards for thank you's after Xmas and Valentines, and have labled and organized the dickens out of my house. You are very good, and your pace and detail are just right. You're on top of your biz too. Young entrepreneurs should take notice of your style and discipline. There is a lot of competition out there, but you stand out. I look at the others, but I come back to you because I can get the answer, with a video, easily and get back to creating. Lots and lots of great resources as well, Someone is going to think I'm your mother. I'm a wealthy retired woman who can afford to buy all the best goodies and play with them. Learning new skills, especially involving computer and mathematical in creativity keeps my brain healthy. I got wealthy by working harder than anyone else at my own business and having a passion for it. I just appreciate a hard-working entrepreneur, and getting a good service and product. Wow! Jennifer, this totally blew my mind! Thanks so much always explaining everything so well. I watch a lot of crafting videos and yours are in my top 3, for sure. I'm actually a Brother Scan N Cut user, BUT I did buy a Cricut Joy for traveling. I'm still not completely sold on Cricut, but your videos do help. You're a natural teacher. 🙂
Jennifer, I'm so thankful to have found you. I'm a new Joy and Explore 2 user and having the time of my life learning all that you teach. I'm going thru chemo right now, and it's just a blessing to be able to do something creative and useful instead of just sitting around and feeling sick. Making all these different projects takes my mind off myself, and I LOVE giving things to people just to give a bright side to their day. I love your tutorials, Jennifer. You virtually hold our hand through the whole process and your comments and tips along the way are always so helpful. Loved your foil projects but I especially appreciated the “cheat sheet” you did with the different foil transfer tips. I prefer the BOLD as well. So glad this new tool kit will work on my old Explore Air because I am still only dreaming of owning a Maker. 🤗

I am having trouble getting mine to transfer well. It is faint and doesn't transfer in some places. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I have the bold tip (three lines), flat side down (shiny side up) and it did not turn out well.

I am so excited. I just picked up my transfer foil kit last night. Came straight to this channel to find a video on how to use it. Wish I would have watched this before taking my foil out of the pack. LOL Mine definitely stuck to it.

I love your tutorials...they are always so clear and concise! I tried the foil feather card project when I first got my Circut in 7 month ago...used an off brand tool and foil and had zero luck (just a mess, torn foil...ugh). Fast forward to today. I again tried this project this time using the Cricut embossing kit and Cricut foil...what a difference. I used the medium tip and love how crisp the foil design came out. The only issue I had was the tape peeled off a bit of the card stock (drat). So I'll remember to test the paper I use with the tape first next time. It's still beautiful, just not perfect! I have learned so much from all of your tutorials! Thanks so much!
OMGoodness!!! my first foil card and it turned out beautifully!!!! I'm so dang excited!!! My next project is to get this foil on faux leather for a cute gift to the ladies I minister to in my church congregation. How dang cute this is!!! This sure beats the heating element.... Jennifer! As someone who loves watching crafty youtubers, you are beyond my fave. I've been wanting to purchase a Cricut for a few months now but wanted to know what other crafty items I can make, outside of shirts, before I purchased. I have learned so much about my Cricut and I am creating new things often by watching your videos. I find myself going to bed at 2-3 in the morning. I am waiting to create using the foil.
Jennifer your videos are THE MOST helpful tool I have. I watched this one while I did my 1st foil project last night. I placed the foil over the area to be scored thinking it wouldn't apply foil to my paper, but it did. It looks really nice, too! I'll have to keep it in mind for when I don't that lol.

Just got my cricut for Christmas, and first time seeing how foil works and it does create beautiful pieces! I think I want to get better with basic skills before venturing.

I used the foil quill to make my wedding invitations. I about tore my hair out. As soon as my wedding was over, cricut was like hey, look at our cool new foil tool! No heat. Way easier! Thanks cricut. 😂🙃😑
