Holy shit! I thought the 2012 Derecho was crazy but it was nothing compared to this! I still remember looking out my back door, terrified because the trees were bending almost horizontal to the ground but this just blows that out of the water...

I have watched this countless times this wind was crazy. Things like this miss my area so I likely will never see anything like this Good Vids!

Now you can understand why sometimes planes crash from Micro Bursts.

That's what happens when a thunderstorm dies. All that rain cooled air and hail can't be supported by the weakening updraft so it all descends in one big mass of dense cold air until it hits the ground. At that point when you're like that running dude, you better put knees to chest and get outta there!

I have witnessed one of these maybe 3 years ago in Nijmegen (NL). If that guy have arrived just few seconds later he would be dead. Unfortunately few people in Nijmegen weren't that lucky... R.I.P. Winds during downbursts can reach even 200km/h. It's like tornado, or better tsunami from the sky, as it's sometimes called. So if you're at the wrong time at the wrong place, you can be easily killed by falling tree, flying projectiles, or be blown down from cliff, bridge, etc...
