Very nice setup. Thanks for sharing. What is the capacity of the battery? Could you please make a video about the capacity in mA/H? Capacity and cycles are the most important characteristics on a battery, so please make a video.

Here in my model I have stacked one over the other on a serial base thereby the voltage gets added and also the current though constant and in practice there will be a gradual increase seen. My cumulative voltage is 4.8volt and current found to be 330mA. The current density will increase when you can stuff the positive electrode with more MnO2 along with carbon mix. 👍

Thank you again, great work. If you use zinc iodine as electrolyte, you will prevent chlorine gas that may occur during charging. Chlorine and iodine are in the same group in the periodic table. Iodine is solid and less reactive, while the other is gaseous and highly active.

Very innovative. I absolutely love this architecture...this is like a hybrid of a voltaic pile and a supercapacitor, Very, very nice ! I'd like to ask what resin or type of resin did you use to bind the carbon disc ?

Diagram shows the proportion, carbon and graphite mix as 1 part and mix with 1 part of MnO2. Make a trial and you can be better. 👍

Can a solid state electrolyte be used instead of liquid to lower the operational temperature of battery? Charge and discharge below freezing.

This is my experiment, you can try with your electrolyte combinations. These types are ultrafast chargeable with endless charge cycles. 👍 Really there is no corrosion
