This was awesome dave! Gotta say, I think I prefer the retelling to the original. Don’t come after me purists! But the art, further depth of scenes, Spidey actually looking athletic, heavier weight added to the death of uncle Ben, and the B&W format…chefs kiss. Thinking back I’m confused to why Sam Raimi didn’t keep the wrestler as Crusher Hogan. It was Bonesaw McGraw who had 3 minutes of playtime. Also, very glad you showed the puzzle book! I was a sucker for those as a kid! Great work as always Dave ❤
Oh that's right, they changed the character for Macho Man, which I totally forgotten. I guess I just always conflated the two to be the same. I also too prefer the retelling 🕷️🤔
Being born in 1974, I watched the Spider-Man TV show as a very young child. There were actually two made for TV movies, and then, the ongoing show, which didn't last very long. That Nicholas Hammond costume is my absolute favorite Spider-Man costume. When I draw Spider-Man, I draw him in that costume. I only wish he had webshooters on both wrists, instead of just his right wrist. I draw him with webshooters on both wrists 😄😄😄. Nicholas Hammond was also in The Sound of Music, with Julie Andrews. He was a bit younger then. Anyway, great show, as always, and next time I'm in Scotland, I'll hafta keep an eye out for that book! 👍😁👍
Hey, found the word "ASS" on the Princess Python word search. 4th line from the bottom, about 1/3 of the way across the line, headed diagonally down and to the right. 😃
