Mark Bagley art style of Spider-Man what made me became a fan of the hero back in the early 2000s his art style on Spider-Man every merchandise back then.

Dig the interview Dave!! I got back to buying comics in 2018 and immediately searched for Todd McFarlane Spider-Man comics and in the process stumbled upon Mark Bagley artwork. I was impressed what Todd was able to to for Spider-Man but was completely floored with Marks artwork and went on to collect as much as I possibly could for any Spider-Man comic by him! He has so many signature covers but ASM #361 stands out the most for me. Love his Ultimate Spider-Man covers especially covers that feature Black-Cat.

I never knew Mark would be so damn funny. I’m glad you touched on his Spider-Man work outside of comic books. When I was little and would be in stores, his art is what I saw on everything from socks to posters. His Spider-Man was THE Spider-Man when I was a kid. I always appreciated his art because of that but getting to know his origin and the rest of his works is what makes this interview. Winning a tryout as a way to break into the industry is incredible. What I love most about your interviews is that you make the guest seem like “one of us” and it’s so personal. Learning new things is the cherry on top. Outstanding work my brother ❤

Great interview. Mark is right about his friend Cliff. He is a very smart person and very nice. Also an encyclopedia on the comic industry and a great writer himself. Mark is very generous and shows up at Cliff's store every year on free comic book day to sign books and draw sketches for free. He's had an awesome career and deserves his semi-retirement.

Bit stretch the silver surfer x 361 😅 not a single limb on either character on the same pose. Anyway, Bagley my absolute favorite growing up...wanted to have all comics with his art, didn't care what character was. On terrificon a couple years back could finally get my autographs on my favorite books and also found his entire card collection on the last day...great video, Mark is very funny

This was an awesome interview. Thanks for sharing! Any chance I can ask where did you reach Mark for interview? I'm doing, albeit written, interviews with artists (so far managed to have Quesada and Mike Deodato) and would love to reach out to Mark too. He's been mine favorite artists ever since a kid.:)
