Good morning, Jill, from Windermere, Florida zone 9b USA Leaves look delicious and look at those potatoes 🥔 What a good haul from just one pot. Good job ❤Peggy❤
Jill , you don't just have a green thimb , you have a green hand ... your agricultural skills are phenomenal ! Would love to see what you could do with a greenhouse ! 95F here today ... another day to enjoy the air conditioning LOL !
I'm encouraged by your fig producing such nice fruit. I got one from Lidl on impulse this year and it's romping away in a 30 litre pot with my home made compost. Thinking of training it across the house wall to provide a 'canopy' in the conservatory. Thanks for the video. Subscribed!
Gorgeous fig, your lemon geranium plant is so healthy I have one which grows quite leggy and has paler, weaker stems than yours, would love to know your secret. Good yield from your potatoes too.
😊 those potatoes remind me of witchetty grubs. The big fat ones are in the desert, but I used to rip up tufts of grass and find little ones. They are white with brown heads and look like the caterpillar from Alice in wonderland. Indigenous people go on hunts for them and eat it raw but mostly cooked in coals. Personally, I prefer the lollie ones that are made in China. In summer, we also get fruit fly maggots. You'd cut a tomato and there is a wiggly maggot.🤮 so no way would I bite into a fig. The fig next door is full of flying fox and I go out and clap my hands and they all fly off. It is like vampires! They are massive. Their poo can carry hendra virus so you have to be careful with the chook water. It is amazing in Commonwealth park when the fireworks go off because millions of flying fox take to the skies and head towards Parliament House... It is full of vampires too. 😊😊 Belinda
