Amazing first trip to film at the Mach Loop 18th - 19th Feb 2016

We ventured out on our first trip to the Mach Loop in Wales with the hope of catching some low flying aircraft...
The climb up from the car park was a little hairy in places, especially carrying all the camera equipment and tripod!
Spent a very enjoyable couple of days filming and met some great people at the same time! Surprising how quickly the weather can change up there, it went from glorious sunshine to snow storm in a matter of minutes...
Needless to say we will be returning again now we've got our feet wet (Literally)
Every credit to the people who regularly frequent the hillsides and mountains, patiently waiting for something to fly past!

Super film - i was staying on the loop the that week in the white cottage nr Cad. In comparison to past years it was a bit quiet on the jet front.

Hi Ben, it was shot in RAW on a Blackmagic 4k camera.. we've just upgraded to a Sony FS7 as the Blackmagic had issues with noise/vertical banding.. you can see it on a couple of shots. We're off back down soon with the Sony, so watch this space! :-)
