Got to hang out with them at the NYC show. Super cool guys and humble. So pumped for this album. This track just shows how they are growing their sound. Keep pushing Orbit!!
Saw them live a couple of months ago and got to meet them afterwards, they are the best dudes, stayed and talked for a long time, best band out there!🤘🏻
Couldn’t agree more dude 👍 This band are THE band 🔥🔥 Niklas, Fred, Richard and Chris are insane and there is no one else like them anywhere 🤘🔥 Cannot wait for Descent and I already know it will be the album of the year 🔥 🇸🇪 Thank you Orbit Culture for existing 🔥
They play a unique blend of Thrash and Melodic Death that really works well and it's great to see how they developed their sound through the different albums. I hope they stay around for much longer.
Orbit Culture is so amazing. From Niklas' vocals to Chris' drumming. It's made for big stages and it shows on their albums and EP and especially live. They're one of the best live bands i've seen ever
Great reaction man! Glad you enjoy them as much as me. They deserve more recognition for sure. Flew to Vegas to see them and so happy they are coming to my hometown in October. They are amazing live and can’t wait for Descent!!
I discovered Orbit Culture from my best friend who sent me SAW. I was instantly blown away, literally the second that song was done, I went through their discography and the rest is history. This band is on my playlist on Spotify every single day, they are absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to see them one day and maybe chat with them too, they need to be signed by a major label cuz they deserve the BIG STAGE
@@TheWolffAndTheMelody Hell yeah, kindred spirits. I just bought tix to Orbit Culture with Avatar here in Oregon.... man I can not wait. My heart is in it
This next album is so important for OC to take the next step. Redfog, Nija, Shaman, were all great, Nija is a masterpiece and IMO Orbit Culture need to come up big with, "Descent" I was not a big fan of, Vultures Of North. Alienated was better though but this song is a gem! Only listened to it five times so far but this will grow huge for sure! Thanks for loving my fellow Swedes!
@@ricknesar1627 you know it’s meant to be a fast, hard hitting, brutal song right? Just because there’s no clean vocal in the chorus doesn’t mean it’s not there. It’s a short chorus but it’s in there.
@@ricknesar1627 it’s just meant to be a fast and hard hitting power song. I believe they are referring to themselves as the vultures of north. Like a hey, here we fucking are, We are the vultures of metal from Sweden (the north), type of song.
MY TAKE: Orbit Culture is the incarnation of NEXT LEVEL MUSICIANSHIP. I hail from 1969 and as a musician, guitar player I have seen decades of changes and thousands of new bands and genre after genre evolve into present day. Orbit Culture has a formula that is beautifully complex, percussive, theatrical, HUGE story telling as if every single track was created for a movie soundtrack. The vocals would make James Hetfield grin for sure! The power behind the vocals is different in that, they are inflective and not mush, they are skull crushing and tear through the universe and yet heart warming. Brilliant! The guitars are rad af, percussive, creative, staccato, melodic and meaningful. Not a note too much or too less. Perfect! Bass is HUGE and it’s such a pleasure to ‘feel’ the bass driving through the tunes and at time the bass is incredibly amplified which again, is a delight! The drums. The drums… there is a beautiful balance of driving beats that keep the listener movin’ and the added intricacies of speed and triplets are incredible. There is a huge level of creativity here! LOVE IT! The production is incredible. Absolutely brilliant and enormous. Nothing was left on the table and it clearly shows in each track. UNREAL! Overall, I feel Orbit Culture is my new favorite band of ALL genres. I encourage everyone to listen to Orbit Culture’s Next Level Melodic Death Metal as it is pure life for many a listener. #1
As a swede i find this band kinda in between Gothenburg sound (in flames, Dark tranquilty, At the gates and ofc Arch enemy) and Stockholm sound (Entombed, Dismember and a bunch more). They kinda rise from the middle of all this. North of Sweden you have Messugah and the hole Hardcore scene Raised fist. But these guys come from the south of Sweden in the middle. If you lived in Swden you would see they barrowed alot from all the scenes in Sweden. The mix is quite unique
@@TheWolffAndTheMelody DT is old school =D And funny enough, the new band Halo effect sounds more like DT then In flames consider Halo effect consist of only ex In flames members (Martin use to sing in In flames and Anders use to sing in DT, then they swapped). Dont know if tou seen this by Ola: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--MdH7JWkSxA.html
Erra / Light the Torch / Fire from the Gods / Spiritbox / Orbit Culture / Bad Omens / Sleep Token / Gojira / Fit for an Autopsy ... Metal is in great shape.
I got dropped here per my own react of this song here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nAHUD08Kedk.html and the whole "metal elitist" notion cracked me up and I had to give your's a watch. Your phrasing, on point (dreamy, etc - good descriptors! ), you've got a real metal connoisseur's approach and I dig that. On that you've got another subscriber! 🤘🏻
brooo apprecoate it! Lol I hear that a bit about using ex elitist hahaha. My close friends always gsvr me grief and called me an elitist so it fits true hahha
@@TheWolffAndTheMelody that's hilarious. I just get called one of two things > "metal connoisseur" when I'm being super particular or "metal slut" when I'm just queueing up the most insane range of metal to listen to. So friend labels have a strange tendency to track accurately. 🤣
Nice reaction brother!! 🤘🤘 Subscribed!! I hope you dont dismiss my request for a reaction, but please give a chance to Sylosis with " Heavy is the crown" or "Deadwood" they are as good as Orbit Culture, if you have not listened to them, you are in for a treat 😉🤘
