This was an awesome song with an important message. I'm glad that there are bands out there that produce music and videos that bring us the reality of the human condition for many. After seeing this, I am once again reminded that my issues and problems are minuscule compared to those of others.
Somehow the ancient sounds of this piece reminded me that the first ever noted music festival happened in Greece, approximately 3000 years ago. But music has an even older history, it just has not been written down before. Makes you feel humble, doesn't it?
I saw that video yesterday and was blown away. InnerWish is a band from Greece and for them, the tragedy of many refugees drowning in the Mediterranean right before their coast is an every day occurrance. Thank you so much for reviewing it! <3
This had such an epic sound. The drums here were excellent, and of course, the vocals were insane. It's just a great sounding track. Reminded me of an Iron Maiden and Devy Mashup, which just saying that sounds exciting. Lol.
great video dude :D hey i was wondering if you're gonna make some videos about the new nightwish album, full album or individual songs or something like that?
Thanks for sharing! Ain't heard Craft before but they're going on the playlist now. Allow me to share with you now! Check out Dragoncorpse! Sunlover or Blood and Stones off The Drakketh Saga album. A mashup of metal genres I never knew I needed in my life.
Yo! I saw you post a clip of this video and finally had time to watch it! Thanks so much for the kind words and the reaction! I'm so glad that the music resonated and had an impact. The subject matter of the song is....rough. I wrote this song at a time when I was incredibly frustrated by how we divide ourselves as people. We find stupid reasons to wage wars, fight in the streets, abuse each other over the internet, and so on. I heard a quote somewhere, I don't remember where it was, but it was "The first step to getting out of depression is to move away from pain. It doesn't matter which direction you go as long as its away". Something like that. And I realized that this was a really unifying thing. People may have different religious beliefs, political views, values, and such. But we can all agree that we want to move away from pain. So, as a father myself, the fact that the song was hard for you kind of links us together. I have no idea where you stand in your views, but we both have the same pain in our chest thinking about a child being left behind. Lots of other parents have had similar reactions to the song. And, while it hurts, that means we're connected. And it's a connection we can all agree on, which is that it should never happen. So the whole EP has that goal. Tell heart wrenching stories to unify listeners. Much love, man!
Finally I've had time to watch this after getting back home today.. I knew 😆 and again, it's thanks to you and all the other amazing suggestions from the community I'm discovering music like this that I was missing out on before.
I watched another reaction to this song just before this and she also started with the same type of comment you had on "genuine" reactors. You are for sure one of the real ones my dude. Aslo; Your reaction to the song was the same as mine!
Great cover, love her voice! I like cover songs especially if it introduces me to a song that I've never heard before, but I can't stand it when people butcher a cover. That is not what she did, really enjoyed that. 🤘🤘 No as for sinus junk, that ain't no fun. Try snorting some Ghost Pepper sauce, that should clear it up real quick! I got a guy that could probably hook you up. 👻 🔥 👻 🔥
I love this reaction! They're truly an incredibly special band that have the most amazing harmonies, lyrics and dynamics. Hope you do another reaction to them since you like this song so much.
My brother, thank you, Tommy, for reacting to my request. When I discovered this cover I did not know this artist but her cover just blew me away. I thought she put so much soul into this version I was super impressed. I'm a old school Metallica head just like you are and when someone does a Amazing version of one of there tracks I really enjoy it. I hope you get to feeling better brother and I'm glad you enjoyed this.
I get what you mean about not wanting to just call this music..... To me this is Emotion... wrapped up in a song.. and then you have those guys playing it for you... couldn't ask for more really...!!! Keep on Rocking Sir.
I'm not a RU-vid creator, but I have my own projects, and it's a very carefull balance one has to keep to stay real, and not going for something just to get popularity and get your message across. Popularity and fame can be addictive. I'm happy you're keeping it real! ☺
This was outstanding! Reminds me a little of Agalloch, I get lost in their music the same way. Will definitely be listening to more of this band. So glad I came across your channel. I've been neglecting my love of metal for a while, you're helping to reignite that flame. 🔥🔥
Yoooo Agalloch! Need to check out more of them. So, I listened to more of this band here, go listen to Autumn Shore...trust me. I'm so glad you are finding your love again, I hope you find that and so much more.
@@TheWolffAndTheMelody Thanks, will definitely check that out! I love Agalloch, their music is so immersive. Highly recommend starting with the album The Mantle if you haven't heard it already.
Ha! so you finally encountered this great band! I remember suggesting the song "Crépuscule" from the same album many months ago! Thank you patreon dude(tte) who pushed this band through!
