Please, please be VERY CAREFUL using dried flowers etc. on candles - they're a HUGE fire hazard!! Use a wick that won’t burn the wax all the way to the outside...
I was going to say this...any sort of flammable litter in the wax (even pieces of wick) can set the whole damn candle aflame. DO NOT leave a candle like this unattended! Better yet, don't burn it AT ALL.

Actually she mixed 3 colours but showed only mixing 1... And from wat i learnt about making candles is the the colours separated... This has happened to me before while making candles, but only if the colours are made from a different material.... Hope this helps!🙃
Very dangerous to melt wax in a pan over a burner. It can easily catch on fire. You should put the wax in a jar, put jar in pan and surround it with water. Then put pan on heat.
Дома такое не делайте. Особенно на газовой плите. Если загорится, начнете совершать глупые поступки - снимать сковороду с огня(прольете пылающий парафин), вода тоже не поможет. Топить парафин лучше в глубокой таре с толстым дном, и крышка должна быть рядом. А лучше вообще на водяной бане. Ну а гербарий послужит вам дополнительными фитилями. Вся свеча загорится :)
@God4me it's when you stack 2 pans....the lower pan is filled with water. The upper pan is filled with that which you wish to melt, ie, chocolate, wax, oils. Hope that answers your question. 😊

Wax can explode into flame if it gets too hot... and a wax fire is VERY hot! They put paraffin in jet fuel to pump up the octane! Also dried flowers on a burning candle is just ASKING for a fire!
Thank you for giving this advice. I just gave my own testimony of how I got a 3rd degree burn in my hand, and consider myself lucky to be alive and not having burned other parts of my body, for melting wax in a pot.

Take the pressed flowers to a copy shop and copy them onto a transparency on the color copier. You have to put cardstock behind them when you lay them on the glass. If the flowers are sentimental.
At the beginning, I was like OK, I used to make ugly candles in the 70's too. Then the way the flowers were added to it was so cool and the results are absolutely beautiful. Thank you for your art!

My Aunt's whole bathroom wall caught on fire because the candle ran to the bottom and caught the beans at the bottom on fire. I can only imagine what could've happened if it were surrounded by dead plants.
You should never melt wax without a double boiler! It's so easy to accidentally start the whole thing on fire. At higher temps or with impure wax, you can get popping bubbles and full boiling... Wax burns go DEEP. Please be safe.
This video is great but just so people know if you see the same small white flowers on the candle growing in your yard maybe DON'T touch them because that looks exactly like hemlock and hemlock I poisonous (and im sorry if I'm wrong and the white flowers in the video aren't hemlock but still don't touch hemlock)
Something terrible actually happened. Not only was the juice carton not flat and gave some shape, but these flowers..... I wish you'd just done a white candle without all that stuff. Not only that, it's a fire hazard.
