Well, that was a good foraging trip. You found some traps brought them home got some lobster. Oh those abalones looks so good and little smash. He’s growing fast the dog is getting beautifully big.❤❤❤❤
Well done saving the pots for your friend. Great forage. Always smash the garlic at least 10 minutes prior to cooking, helps to release the allicin which is the major health benefit of garlic and Yes, it does taste better. I've never seen a pup that loves seafood like Smash, hilarious.
Have you tried the rolling pin method of extracting the leg meat? Lay out a full leg, start at the claw and roll up the leg. The leg meat will come out like toothpaste out of a tube.
HEY JAY, TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION ABOUT THE GARLIC OFF THE CLOVE TO THE CHOPPED GARLIC FROM THE JAR ITS THIS, THERE IS AN ENZYM WITH IN GARLIC THAT TENDS TO DISAPATE 15 MINUTES AFTER YOUR CHOP IT FOR THE FIRST TIME....
foraging is HARD back breaking work yall, my knees after a couple of hours couldn’t take it hahahaha just bending down oh gawd my back was aching for days 😅 but so rewarding to eat your catch
ROCK TIPPING? I have never done what you are doing, as i live in Ohio USA. The rocks seem white and clean when you roll them over to find abalone. Wouldnt it be better to leave them over so the abalone would have fresh algae and stuff to eat? SMASH FISHING ROCKS WHOOO!
So what does lobster taste like without all the spices? Does it taste better than cod or beef or lamb, etc? Does it taste bland without stuff added to it? I am an old man and I've never tasted it but it's mainly because it's a hyped up food same as caviar and truffles, saffron, etc. I think I would be underwhelmed if I ate it.
ive only ever had lobster paste made by shipmans ,thats the closest ive got to a real lobster , if they were not so expensive i would buy one or two each month when i receive my pension.
One has a we we the other has a ya ya mate, males tend to have a straight tail while females have usually a wider tail and curved t he first set of "baby" legs -On the male, the first set is covered in a hard shell; on the female, they're thin and feathery. They may also be bearing eggs instant sign for a female which you should let go asap. Sorry about the we we ya ya, joke mate I couldn't help myself 😂
