No point in keeping it out of the water for 10 minutes too. Huge fan of his work but he shouldn't have kept it for that long if he didn't intend to keep it not to forget the fish was on a rough rock.

@@Zee_Yeah It's one of the reasons I don't subscribe to his channel, mate. He catches plenty of fish/crabs/lobsters that he could keep and he ends up putting them back. The thought of sharing what he catches with others, friends and family, e.g., rarely enters his mind. If you're not going to keep it, don't catch it.

Great video super pipe fish , colours on wrasse Iv'e never seen your well rewarded with the large spider crab and you looked after that slab of a bass plus you cleaned up after your feast. Well done and thanks for sharing.

What a night! 5lb crab and a 5lb bass in the net, get in! K+for returning the bass. Your cooking is coming on leaps and bounds too👍can recommend cracking the legs and claws to let that steam in, great method using the foil on the bbq which I'll be trying myself soon. Great video guys 👊

Nice one...great search.. Interesting creatures....that bass will never live that down..being caught in a shrimp net..ahaha..before I picked up a fishing rod I used a kiddie's net on a bamboo caught perch up to 2 lb in local river...

Jay and Sam, is it still quite chilly on the beach this time of year on Guernsey? Huge spider crab! Great foraging video with interesting finds. Nice job catching that big bass. I think that the bass weighed 6.5 lbs. It was great the amount of time you took to put it back. Take care! 🦀
