I cannot get through this without tears welling up and having the feeling of being blessed. Stan is a walking miracle as he had a serious battle with a rare stomach cancer and had to have his stomach removed. In this performance he sings "I surrender" which he wrote and was blessed to have a full recovery. He was born in New Zealand but moved to Australia as a child. We claim him now lol. No but he is strongly connected to his Mauri heritage. I was watching your face and could see the affect of this performance on you. I hope to see many more 'reactions' to Stan Walker.
He is another beautiful voice of Polynesia. He is Maori from 4:55 😂 New Zealand. I really love his version. Many covered of this amazing lyric, but I prefer his version his is the best I've experienced n heard so far. His vocal is so powerful n I like how he tells the story of that song. Hearing this often then I realized he mixed Amazing Grace with Surrender which is a mind blowing. The harmonizing makes me have goosebumps all over. Beautiful n emotional. The Levites is more like a whole choir n the drums played the trick.

Stan was Australian Idol winner 2009, cancer survivor after having his stomach and part of his diaphram removed. He's our national treasure here in New Zealand.
