Crank your own system up before watching this! 15 dedicated channels featuring 2 33" B2Audio Subs is like being in heaven for me. Just watching on your phone or tablet may not be good enough. A great set of headphones will do! Obviously you will not hear true surround due to it being recorded by me but you can still tell how clean it is if you have a decent setup. Thanks for watching if you did! Don't forget to watch all the build and install video's of this system (and of course the boxes for the massive 33" subs). A lot of work has been put into this! I know i know though...it never ends. It is never good enough for the internet but so far i love it!
there are much nicer dedicated home theaters out there. But i prefer my stuff to be in the living room. I have a room that is perfect for a theater but i put a pool table and arcade in it instead. I like watching movies and TV in the main living room. It does sound great for where it is! :) Thanks man!
Could tell how big the tv was near the beginning when you were standing next to it, insane! The 33s truly do make it look small but that’s certainly not the case lol
An old-school movie I remember when I was 1st getting into Home theater was True Lies. When the helicopter flew around the mobile home that was so cool. HAHA back then I was into the Bose cubes but today I have a basic Polk Audio 5.1 setup with a 26" wide center channel and Polk Adio 12" sub. I'd love to have something 1/4 as nice as this!

i just got a set of Klipsch tower speakers and a center channel and i was blown away theyre the entry level ones but im still impressed i now know why you went with Klipsch

Saving Private Ryan is always a go to for me for surround sound sytems Also alot of the transformers movies would sound amazing on that system. That is a dream theatre system of mine. Samsung makes a TV over 100" i think LG does also
Pretty darn impressive! Likely could build a movie theater for what was spent on this rig. I'd love to get a demo of those mega-monster-king-size 33" subwoofers. I've got one 18" in my car and it slaps hard, so 2 subs nearly double that size might start an earthquake, so be careful.

Saving Private Ryan 18. Spiderman No Way Home 19. Suicide Squad (2021) Movies with killer 7.1 or 5.1 I can also recommend 1. Dunkirk 2. Edge of Tomorrow (Live die repeat) (if you want some of the heaviest bass in a movie intro it dips down to single digits in the logo intro but only on the 7.1 mix not the Atmos version 3. Inception 4. Interstellar Sorry for the long list, my collection of 1,500 physical movies has taught me what’s a good mix and what is not
I thought those were 18's. When you walked into the frame I was like there's no way he's FOUR FEET TALL! I'm watching on a 65" and those subs make the tv look like a 50". God damn.
Great system Steve! I’m a sound engineer and if you have some bass problems with playing music I can only recommend to put the 2 subs together in the center because L&R causes all kinds of problems and the higher the frequencies the more problems you get. They interfere with each other when placed separately. At many concerts you see subs in front of the stage. I would also recommend to get the center and main LR decoupled from the table or the ground. This will make a huge difference in sound, it will get way more open and detailed. You can test it by letting someone pick up the speaker a bit and listen to the difference.
It is actually recommended that subwoofers be placed diagonally! And may I remind you, unlike a concert, a smaller listening environment can be over pressurised. I actually think he has the subwoofers placed quite good. I know they say low frequencies are non-directional but in my experience subwoofers always sound best next to stereo speakers. An avid music listener.

I watched this wearing my RIG 800HD ATMOS Headset and OMG it was AMAZING! I have watched The Matrix, Gravity and Top Gun with great results as they are ATMOS titles. I hear 8K TVs are on the way, so may be an idea to hold off a bit as those will exceed 100 inches.
The Tomorrow War has great subsonics and sound engineering. Awesome movie in general. Also might be a good idea to consider adding sound dampening to the walls to absorb the reverb. Greatly increased the sound quality in my set up
I’ve only got 4 10s and 10 other speakers in my surround sound and that hits. I can’t imagine this setup. Literally finishing setting up because I just moved. I thought my wiring was a pain in the ass lol.
Impressive system, I love it! I moved from a Marantz AV7703 and went to the Audio Control Maestro X7 and I loved going with that upgrade in my DIY system.
I am wearing a pair of headphones that are plugged into a USB sound card with the BASS control set at #5 and I can clearly hear the thundering bass from the subwoofers! Awesome sound!

My reference music Blu Ray is always Metallica Through The Never. The audio track on that disc is absolutely unreal on a big big system. Give it a try Steve if you can get a copy
Your setup is awesome. I'm really picky about the quality of the base and I usually prefer band pass over larger subwoofers like that but won't pass judgment until I heard it in person. Love it.
So realistic and immersive it even fooled the doggo. Nice set-up Steve. Give Edge of Tomorrow and Lucy a spin. Those have great visuals and amazing audio. 👍

Too bad i don't watch may movies but i would be bumping all the time with those. The synths sounded so clean on the THX intro . My god, I would melt away

Looks and sounds absolutely incredible! It has been fun to watch this all come together over the last several months. I have a 5.4.2 setup at home and love it. Movies I would recommend for ATMOS/LFE are: The Batman, Interstellar (wormhole scene, make sure your center in not set to large because it throws a loud 12hz through it if it is), Top Gun: Maverick, War of the Worlds, John Wick 4 (or any of the John Wick series honestly), Ready Player One, Blade Runner 2049, Dune (2021), and A Quite Place I/II (surround and ATMOS effects are eerie/trippy/violent with a good system). Obviously running all of these movies with 4k disc, or comparable bitrate steaming would be optimal. Full 3.5-6.5mb/s ATMOS on disc is much better than 400-700kb/s on streaming, and would likely be very noticeable with your system.
Nice setup, man! Bet the video cant do it justice. I have the Sony 85 too, had a 90F series, but after some roof repairs, I got an upgrade when the ceiling repair guy gouged the screen with a putty knife, so now I have the 95J.
If you care about my .02 I will Just share I have been through a lot of subwoofers myself and one thing I have certainly learned is a lot of sub amps are dsp limited/protected to start rolling off pretty good under 20hz, some worse than others… not sure of your port tune or in room response on the subs, but I can tell You speaker power has been about the only company I have found that does rated rms power and don’t start rolling off until 5hz … you might already know all this figured I would just share in case you didn’t.. cool system homie 👍🔊.
