Who wants to spend nearly $4k a month on a 3bed 3 bath home 40 min outside of Dallas? Still too high.

Builder needs to bring down the price if they want to sell. If not it will sit and they’ll be forced to sell

Agreed. Even with all the perks, prices are ridiculous. 400k is not affordable especially for the sizes they offer.

Some people can afford and buy it, but I will never give my hard earned money to home builders now. Some people are also emotional buyers and can’t continue to pay their mortgage after purchasing the house.

We went under contract for a home over a week ago for a new build. The builders agent clearly said that we would get their 5.5% rate deal AND closing costs covered. Everyone heard this. The sales agent even admitted that was what she told us. Our real estate agent understood that, too and is very upset that they’re changing on us days after going under contract. After talking to the lender (who took days to respond to our agent), she is saying they won’t cover the 10k fee required to get that lower rate. They will cover 2% of closing costs and that’s it. The 5.5% rate was the whole focus of the deal from day 1. What can we do? Is there any legal recourse for huge false advertising? It’s a 470k home. We are in Utah.

We just priced a build for pacesetter in Elevon. This makes us reconsider.

Inventory is the way to go right now. Builders have some great deals on Inventory to move things before the end of quarters. So if they have some thing that fits your timeline budget and desire, I would run with it. If y’all need any help working through that and making sure you get a top-notch deal with them, let me know. Too bad ain’t nobody wanna live in Lavon, TX. Lol. 😅 Appreciate the video nonetheless. If I ever decide to sell our 5bed/3bath in McKinney, I know who to call. The 5.99% can still kiss my butt though. I like my 4% I’m paying now.

The area is growing and this community in particular is booming. Way to go on the 4% you shouldnt sell, when its time that home needs to be kept as a rental when you move up
