These men are amazing. First time I've seen one of these workers oiling threads before tightening! Super workers should have new machines and clean workshops.
The reason they are still operating is that they can produce the gears at a cheaper price than China. That is probably because the y don't have to amortise the expense of new machine tool in their prices..

@@sloo1989 Как бывший работник цеха с оборудованием 1910-1980 года выпуска ответственно скажу- в России такого быть не может. У нас к счастью еще осталась старая школа инженеров и станочников из СССР, но в ближайшие лет 20 без вложений в производство, можем прийти и к такому "качеству"
Но но, не торопитесь. Следующий этап, эти шестерни отвезут бородачам которые гнутыми электродами коленвалы сваривают. Те каверны и недостающие части зубов заварят, болгаркой зашлифуют и будет ваще эталон качества. 😁

I bought a mainshaft for a jeep transmission. It was made in India. It was heat treated by a guy in Washington state. It was a good part. Perfect dimensions. Never failed. Would buy again. In the future this company will be bought out by Cogswell Cogs.

For which purposes are these wheels used? I am impressed what these fine gentlemen produce. With real CNC machines and decent clothing and shoes they would be in heaven.
@@paulwhitehouse3690 I was going to say 'Is cast iron strong enough for that' then I remembered living next to old canal which stlll has two old slewing cranes used for unloading timber from barges. They have a large diameter gear with hand crank.
WHAT?! Shoes AND safety glasses? What is this world coming to? Just the simple thing of putting oil on the bolts before putting the nuts on just shows a level of care usually not seen in these vids.
ТММ, ДММ и иные науки обработки металлов, явно не известны. отливка и метал детали - просто отвратительного качества. понятие, биение, явно отсутствует. на такой шестерёнки, зубцы отлетят в миг. вот эти детали как сделали, можно сразу выбрасывать.
Учоному экспёрду по металловедению, металлообработке и иным точным наукам первые четыре класса средней общеобразовательной школы не лишним было бы закончить, хотя бы без двоек. Для начала, ессно. Затем восьмилетка, потом ПТУ или хотя бы технарь...
