@@100nortonfan7 It amazes me how haters are all over this planet. Especially when it comes to your toys. Lol and you take this seriously right. Your games are over on this planet. It's time for haters to leave this planet. We are dealing with parasites on an everyday basis. You guys are funny...... These guys are great they do not need modern tech to fix a problem. Sounds good to me.
Don't confuse "toys" such as flying kites or paper airplanes with those who put theirs and other's lives at risk: such as race car drivers or airplane pilots, Scooba divers, etc. Anyone who engages in any of these types of activities takes their sport or way of living seriously. Apparently, you're not at an age to discern or appreciate the differences.
Same here. I'm always amazed by men who just have a natural, innate ability to do these things, set up rigs and jigs to be able to do these complex tasks, come up with ways to move, manipulate and brace heavy items, be able to diagnose, strip down, fix and reassemble complex intricate machines, usually without specific training. The guys who do this stuff have massive practical ability and amazing spatiaI reasoning. I mess around with things in my garage, fixing the odd household appliance, and do some hobby woodworking and hand-metalworking etc, but to me this gearbox might as well just be magic. This thing intimidates the heck out of me lol
Spilling a few quarts of oil on the ground is nothing to what GM and major industries are spilling into our rivers every hour of every day . Put things into prospective.
I once had an Englishman neighbor who was assigned as the warranty manager for Jaguar in India. He was amazed that the repair shops were tearing engines and transmissions apart whilst squatting down working on the shop floor. He had some workbenches made and installed in the shops. To his astonishment, he found the mechanics working on the benches while squatting on top of the workbenches. Further proof that you can lead a whore to culture, but you can't make them read!
They never show it work again, because it will never work again. They disassembled it, then reassembled it even more wrong. They even tighten the bolts in the end with zero patterns, just stick them in randomly! Yeah, I'm sure that won't ever start again.
You are correct. They are good workers with very little technical training, As an examplem all of the clutch disks should soak for a given period of time. in recommended oil.
@@jamesmckay9966 I think it's really sad. With their energy and will, I think they could be made to concentrate and become skilled machinists and engineers. But this way, it's a dead end. Encouraging really bad method.
If this kind of work have been done in u.s. or Canada...it will cost the customer, thousand of dollars....tax....labour cost...materials and what ever.
Fixing a grader transmission by whacking it on the floor and using a monkey wrench! God, I love Pakistan! I wonder how close that transmission was to eating itself before they fixed it. Amazing work!
It's really not hard for anyone that is used to heavy machinery. Transmissions and gearboxes are pretty simple to anyone who knows how they work. I mean yeah, if you're just some fella trying to replace the broken parts and have no idea what it actually is you're working on, it would be hard. But to a pro, they salivate over these cake jobs. If you REALLY want to be impressed, think about the people in York Pennsylvania who actually designed and built the thing in the first place... and all the amazing tolerances and precision that the components used to have before these butchers got their hands on them.
@@MG-nz6bx These "butchers" were not born in prosperity like you in Pennsylvania, nor did they have the opportunity to be adequately educated to have a better understanding of what tolerance means, but believe me they know much more about being human and being understanding and kind to people. than you know! The difference is that they will fix this broken part, but you will forever remain broken as you are now!
@@fikaa2388 Kindness has nothing to do with mechanics... this is a precise engineered machine and they are making by with what they have, but it's sort of butchering, it won't last as long as it was intended if properly rebuilt.
I may be wrong, but I believe that those clutch disks are supposed to soak in prescribed oil for a given number of hours before final assembly. I'd like a comment.
Most were used& don't need it, but best practices, NO, good enough with a smear to soak in, yes. They'll be drowning in lube soon enough and their life is shortened but only enough to not matter to them OR the owner OR the operator that wanna get moving again, working for pay day by day.
for all the peeps with perfect tools i feel for you if you had to work with out them . Some work in the field like this i know i have done it too. You all are very good at what you do there. Improvise.
??? how can you tell? Obviously not a trained mechanic nor technician. This is a fine example of how not to do it! Parts and components exposed to all kinds of contaminants, no workshop manual with torque specs., measurements, assembly sequence etc., etc. This is nothing but shoddy workmanship!
Absolutley fantastic skilled mechanics who work with limited tools. And all you haters , why cant you say something nice instead of your shitty sarcasm. You dont apreciate these peoples efforts and how the hell do you know hes using the same bearings and old damaged parts. Man give the guys a break !!!

Степень износа подшипников проверяют ухом, тугую посадку подшипника на валу производят -3 удара молотком по одной стороне и 2 по другой. I am not saying that what they are doing is the right thing. They might not be the most educated men, but they are smart to do all that without a formal education and training. With no regulations in place and not many educated people around, they are unaware of the economic impact. And even if they know all of that and if they follow all the rules in the book, the cost of repair will outweigh the economic benefit of the repair. And as always, it’s easy to comment about environment, groundwater and other negative impacts while you sit on your high horse while taking basic needs such as 3 square meals, water, good clothes and comfortable shelter for granted. From your comment, it’s clear that you have lived a good life in a first world country and have not experienced some of your basic needs threatened because of lack of money. Things such as philanthropy, charity, environmental impact etc are activities for those whose tummies are full, have their basic needs sorted and have more than $1000 in their bank accounts. People like you get irritated when there is an occasional power failure, when your smart phone runs out of juice, when the printer is out of toner when you want to print something or when the internet is any a bit slow and your RU-vid video is buffering. You could have conveyed the same message with different words, but you choose to belittle those who clearly have more skill than you possess, have less available resources and still somehow are making their ends meet.
