I visited Ruedi Weber his amazing indoor Koi pond. This koi pond is build in his man-cave by hand. This fish pond includes an expensive and rare Koi collection. Do you like it? #shorts #koi #buildingkoipond
What's interesting about koi and goldfish, is they stop growing depending on the size of their environment. If you get koi when they are young you absolutely could, keep them in a ten gallon. My mom got our one goldfish a 40 gallon tank, after his 10 gallon one, because he stopped growing, and now hes already started growing again. But this is why you should never let them free into the wild.
@@finnfraggle The fish technically don't stop growing; their growth just becomes a lot slower and less noticeable. This is known as stunted growth. It's very dangerous because the fish is living in an environment that is smaller than it's supposed to be which stresses its organs. Imagine being contained to the crib you had as a baby until you become an adult. Sure you could fit in the crib by folding your legs or arms but you will have spinal problems and your legs won't be strong because they were that way for so long.
@@Cindy99765 Oh! See that makes klmuch more sense. I actually went and looked it up too, I wanted to know more. And its them giving off a certain hormone, that inhibits their growth. That's interesting from an evolutionary standpoint.
@iPhoneTwentySeven I'm not scared of looking at them or touching them just can't be in water with big fishes. I believe I've some kind of phobia with this but I don't really know the name. I had searched on Google but I'm not sure if that's what it is.
Aren’t you tired of slaving everyday at a 9-5, don’t you want to be filthy rich, take vacations whenever you want, you don’t even have to work, and money will rain down from the sky? Well in a few minutes I’m going to show you how to do this.... justttttttt click on this link and get your credit card ready so you can be on the road to making money while you sleep.
You missed it that goromo was so excited to come up and say hello to you and you just turned around and walked away, and his gaze followed after you. 🙃
No, everyone else is just paying attention and realise that is not the whole tank. When you feel the need to white knight for the fishies, you may want to lay off the sjw thing a bit.... just a thought.
@@sjrjfndn they probably have people who come and change the water frequently. So as long as all the crap and ammonia is taken out ever month then those fish will live happy and longer lives. Because if this tank was neglected like the owner did not ever change water. Man these fish are so dirty the koifish and the goldfish, koifish get big so they need like a huge pond for the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide to take place. As long as the bad gasses are taken out and fresh new water is put in then they wont develop redgills and be sad fish.
@@Groblinmode Keeping a freshwater fish as a pet is actually good for the fish because they are delicate and don't get much care in their natural habitat and eventually die.
I’d get 1 or 2 but dam this looks low key cruel 12 foot wide water for all those big fish idk tho people say dolphin are intelligent yet we keep some in kitty pools for profit and amusement
I have yet 2 c a dolphin kept in a kiddie pool, can't happen.sure you weren't confused by a baby gator or croc, you mistook 4 a dolphin???😂😂😂next you be telln us they keep n orcas in town/city water towers, mixed in with mermen n mermaids cleaning up the tanks.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😮😮😮😢😢😢😅😅😅😅😅😂😂😂
@@user-xt8je4bp5v I was exaggerating on the kitty pool but if you think about it How about you lock yourself and a room and live there until you die and see if you feel the same
@@TheKoiPartner If you search in Google, it is stated On average, around 500 to 800 earthquakes are registered every year in Switzerland. However, only 25 to 40 of these tremors (5%) with magnitudes of around 3 are perceptible to humans. So, it's quite small in magnitude, but there are in fact, earthquakes in Switzerland. ✌
Amazing tank - I would love to sit and draw them all day. It seems there is a larger space for them at the back, which explains why they are so big! Beautiful colours ❤
I figured this was some kind of temporary situation for all these huge fish. Obv. it is way to small for all these giant koi. Great fish you have there. Beautiful.
@@koreygoffe2105 Well, there’s like ten fish in there, so let’s assume that like 3 have children, which would mean that there would be a LOT of fish in there
@@koreygoffe2105 most adult female koi get to 12 lbs (5.443 kg) and per 1 kilogram, they carry up to 100,000 eggs. So doing mafss you can conclude that there will be about 500,000~ eggs. 60 percent of those will survive and so 300,000~ eggs would hatch in theory. In other words, this dude better pray to whatever god is out there that they don’t have enough space to start laying eggs and fertilizing or it’s there’s gonna be 90 percent fish 10 percent water
It steps down about3ft below flr level also it truly is quite adequate, could use some live plants,Def sum typeof giant Lilly pad with dangling roots Def look bad ass😂
what i like about this tank the most is the depth, it makes it so much sweeter, this setup is dreamy, it would be cool with lush plants like pothos with roots going ing into the tank, emmersed
There's nooooo way that's a big enough space for them. Not a fish expert and I only know basics, but regardless of how you treat and feed them, there's no way they're comfortable in that size of tank
