Thanks for the review, you mentioned $250/night was that with a discount? I know it was a year ago now, but everything is $550-$800/night now? Any tips?
How many hotels have gotten five tophers, Chris? But everything looked first rate but still with like a welcoming vibe and not too stuffy. That box to store the TV remote looked clever also. It seems the last couple places I've stayed they are back to pre-covid procedures and just laying the remote in front of the TV without even being covered in a plastic sleeve.
May I suggest a subject for a future video: do you know the best hotel chain in the US for Budget /lower-end Hotel/Motel accommodation? No, I am not talking about hostels etc, but for ex. ECONO lodge, Super8, Yotel or Holiday Inn Express. Could you tell us (in your opinion) the best 5 economical hotel chains in the US? A chain that usually has clean rooms and free parking for example? I don't know... do you?
I’ve been enjoying your videos. Watched a few of the Whistler series. But I think you should add a little bit of criticism in your reviews because we’ll lose retention if everything is just “great”. Try complaining a little bit more about the bar fridge, or maybe make a little joke about how the chocolate isn’t really “free” because Fairmont is overpriced lol. It won’t affect the quality of your content, and it will keep it real for your viewers ✌️
Thanks for the suggestion Brad. For my critical side you might enjoy my video on the worst cheap hotels on the Las Vegas strip: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yR1cpLJYuuI.html
Such a great video! I agree, Fairmont Chateau Whistler is pretty incredible. Thank you for taking the time to put this informative tour together! I’m looking forward to my next stay.
That hotel looks amazing! I'll have to make sure I stay there when I get a chance to finally go to Whistler! I usually don't mind too much if I have to walk about 10-15 minutes to get to many of the attractions or restaurants, so that should not be a concern.
4 of my cousins used to work there. One of the 4 travels around the world training people for Fairmont Hotels. Pretty cool, huh? Or should I say ehh? My mother is Canadian. Im not.
This place looks like a wonderful place to stay! We passed it years ago, when visiting Whistler one summer day. Might have to stay here sometime. That “kitchen,” as the Spunky Princess calls it, looked like it had AMAZING food! Thanks for this great review, Chris!
I would have given it a 4 1/2 Tophers; deducting 1/2 Topher only because there was a minibar instead of a refrigerator. I need that refrigerator to put my water bottles and cold cut sandwiches in; for some of us having a fridge in the room is a big deal. I can’t stomach those exuberant and abusive water bottle and snack prices at hotels. Otherwise, it’s an all around lovely place. Thanks for a wonderful review, as always, Chris.
@@YellowProductions Thankfully, for toddlers they tend to bend backwards. As for grownups, sometimes they could careless. Notwithstanding, it seems like a great place to stay. And your review was both entertaining and informative, as always.
