Amazing Mayzie/ Gertrude

okay i was mayzie in my production of seussical and oh my goodness great balls of fire mayzie here is freaking AMAYZING WOW 14 CLAPS FOR YOU

Watching this takes me back to the best show for being the student costume coordinator and Team Leader for hair and make up!

this is a high school?! My god there is way too much talent for simply a high school!

I was hoping to play Mayzie in Seussical this August, but I got stuck with being Yertle and a Jungle Of Nool creature. I'm saying that if I was Mayzie, I would love to incorporate my own twist on the role with a little tumbling and a wild side. But hopefully I'll do that as a Nool creature.

My old school did this for the 4th and 5th graders I worked backstage, and for a elementary school school to do this play was "hard" (Thats what the drama teacher said :P)

That was absolutely PERFECT. What incredible talent. I'm actually speechless.

@NathanSpelling this Gertrude pretty much copied Jamie LaManna from the original broadway cast...I am guessing either her or the director heard it and decided to implement those inflections into the song. Although I do love this Mayzie she is pretty awesome and her little riff during the I'm Glassando is as amazing as her character!

So I adored mayzie and Gertrude. But the cat was too animated for my taste. And yes I know he's supposed to play for laughs but there's a limit. Of course that could also be the director's fault. Either way, the performance as a whole was good.
