Amazing Mayzie - Seussical 

Honestly this song is so difficult to sing. For my show, there’s actually quite a lot of movement and it’s tiring and trying to hit that final note on your own whilst out of breath, it’s very hard so my heart goes out to all the Mayzies out there 😂😂

Mayzie was my first introduction to seussical, our drama club was told that seussical was our spring play and I immediately looked up the characters, and was immediately drawn to Mayzie. She was who I auditioned for, I drew her, and I was so determined to get her role. I was a Who, instead, and I probably couldn’t have handled the Mayzie Choreo of our production, but this specific video was the first thing I’d ever seen from the show :)

Holy. Cow. Excellent job, leads & bird girls! Now, for the nuts & bolts: The orchestra sounds phenomenal, plus the recording is in full stereo, the mics are mixed perfectly and sound amazing. The conductor, musicians, and whomever is responsible for the audio tech and mixing are worth their weight in gold. A completely professional job. Cheers!

I loved the performance! The singing, the dancing and the costumes were all incredible! This song is very hard to sing but after you practice it becomes easier and it's all about breath management. I auditioned for this part but unfortunately didn't get it, I still love the song and all the other Mayzies out there!
