this is a masterclass in both filming, production, scaling, etc, etc... also (probably more important) in actual the rc operation... dude.. you got that nailed! There are videos of big expensive vehicles in RC conventions... deep pockets but poor operators... Keep up the good work!

what would be needed for slower speed with more control on the excavators' control combi-functions? A higher capacity hydraulic pump at lower revs or (as I suspect) is it more complicated than that...

You can adjust the endpoints on the pump to slow it down and make it run a little slower. But you lose power. Also you cab adjust the dual rates and create a different curve for each channel so you can delay the movement or slow it down.
