La Pausa is one of my favorite Chanel fragrances. I actually get a vetiver scent from it. Especially in the newer EDP formulation. A light vanilla is hidden in the dry down to modernize it too. The EDT is more dusty with a little leather.

This is one of my favorite genres! My favorite picks would be: - Tom Ford White suede/Fougere d'Argent (have you tried these?) - Chanel Boy/1957 - Maison Francis Kurkdjian 724 - Amouage Dia - Dior Cologne Blanch/Bois d'Argent

It is definitely not a loud perfume on my skin. Although it has lasts for quite a while, having some animalic qualities, it sits close to the skin
