"She's definitely not a smoker!" That's so hilarious and I cracked up when you guys said it. Morissette's whistle note always catches reactors off guard because they don't expect it! Also, Morissette's one long breath has been timed by one reactor and it reached 14 seconds! One other whistle note that was also timed by one of the reactors was when Morissette sang "I Wanna Know What Love Is." Her whistle note reached 16 seconds! Thus, she has tremendous air capacity in her lungs that allows her to take long breaths, LOL.
@@rogeliozamora6018 sammy davis, dean martin, frank sinatra to name a few great singers not only are smokers but drinkers of whisky or brandy. i've seen the first two holding lighted cigarrette on one hand and a glass of whisky, brandy or whatever on the other while singing on tv. Some things are hard to generalize.

@@rogeliozamora6018 amen to that, nothing you said here can be argued against, i was merely sharing some exceptions of some people based on my own memory as a child watching tv of celebrities who excelled really well in their profession despite indulging in what we know as unhealthy vices and lived their lives fully. Great comedian actor george burns , though not a singer ,for example had been puffing not cigarrettes but cigars all his adult life on and off camera, after starring in a series of blockbuster films till his mid 90's he passed away at the age of almost a century, almost twice the lifespan of some average clean living folks suddenly ending up dead or dying of natural cause at half his age .This is not to say that people should emulate their unhealthy habits i hope i'm not misunderstood here. Its a case to case basis with people including entertainers like singers.
@@simonarriba1473 as a general rule: DON'T SMOKE. Smoking CAUSES cancer and a host of other debilitating diseases. But you can IGNORE this rule if you want. Nobody's forcing you. It's your life anyway. But you can't rationalize that people can engage in unhealthy activities and live full lives, because they DON'T! They can live their lives any way they want; but it does not mean you have to follow or agree with them.
