These old incomplete architects plan drawers were purchased for $50. The seller believed they had originally been used in city council offices or a library. They are made from Rimu, a New Zealand native timber. As they were originally made in a rudimentary way I have tried to keep this in mind with the restoration process. With 2 drawers completely missing I used the remaining drawer bases to construct new parts. Although I was unable to accurately date this piece I was able to confirm the original handles were at least 70 years old.
