If this movie had a better plot it could have been an excellent movie because the cinematography it's astonishing. Thank you Sam Raimi for giving your style to the MCU

Why I freaking loved this movie, the cinematography, Sam Raimi’s distinct directing style, the story, the character exploration, the performances and Sam Raimi perfectly bringing a new tone to the MCU.

I personally enjoy the hell out of this film though I’ll admit the plot the pace and some parts can definitely be shaped a bit smoother, nevertheless the horror direction by Rami and the shots r just wild unpredictable and entertaining af, it’s a win for Rami and hope he gets to do more supernatural marvel projects in the future

For all of Multiverse of Madness' flaws, its cinematography is definitely not one of them and is straight up S-tier. It's vibrant, colorful and employs use of Sam Raimi's trademark dynamic camera movement to make it easily the most stunning looking MCU film to date imo.

The cinematography for this movie was handled by John Mathieson, who also did the cinematography for X-Men: First Class. John, in the unlikely event that you read this, you deserve a freaking Oscar.

Sam Raimi is one of my all-time favorite directors. And I’m glad more than anything that he made another Marvel movie and brought his horror style to the mix. This movie was absolutely beautiful to look at.❤️

I'm surprised this video is only 3 minutes long. This is the most well-shot and well-edited movie in Marvel's entire catalogue.

Best Marvel movie since Infinity War.

Aside from the script needing a little more work, this film was otherwise fantastic all the way, with Sam's style, Mathieson's cinematography and, in my humble opinion, Elfman's score. Great to have you back Raimi, we need your directorial stuff more than ever now, especially in times like these.

In my opinion, Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness is much better than Spider-Man: No Way Home in terms of cinematography and visuals.

I love when a horror director makes a superhero movie

I really liked the magnificent performance of Benedic Cumberbatch impersonating Dr. Strange, it is so sublime, the musical fight was epic, I seriously thought they were different people, damn the gestures on his face really make you think that he is facing another person.

Personally this might be my new favorite Doctor strange film, the cinematography and direction from Sam and John Mathieson really make it pop and let's not forget the amazing visual effect that we're turned up to 11 in this movie. The first movie was crazy but this one really amped up the psychedelic trip vibes.

With the simple plot of finding an universe where our heroes could live their dreams and escape their nightmares. With the plot of them constantly facing what they try to run away from and finally embracing it, but what makes it even better is Sam's visuals. Sam allowed a pretty simple and usual story yet strong and effective story with a little different approach. The horror of this movie was to see the darkest versions of the characters, we love and want to have a normal life. Best example is Sinister Strange. I never thought I would see a Dr Strange, so mentally damaged and weak. After all, this movie is about characters and not the multiversal madness or cameos. The members of Illuminati were proud of their powers and underestimated Wanda which is why they died. Even that shows their character. Our Strange became the human again after staying as the magician for a very long time when he trusted Chavez. We already saw that in Dr Strange 2016 but didn't see that ever again. That is the true character of Dr Strange (To save lives not take them) We don't need stories of different Dr Stranges because they are similar to our Strange's stories. Defender Strange was that arrogant, selfish Strange which our Dr Strange was in No Way Home, our Strange learned the lesson of sacrifice from Earth 838's Strange which helped him.

I think that in terms of cinematography and direction this is the best in the MCU.

What a masterpiece, thanks for all Sam Raimi.

Despite it's flaws, Multiverse of Madness has hands down, the best cinematography and score of the MCU. It's so vibrant and comic book-ey.

This film had some flaws, but Sam Raimis direction and visual style is absolutely exceptional. Probs the best MCU film in terms of cinematography imo. Still great despite some issues with the writing.

Loved, loved this film. Yup. While I did expect an Avengers-level epic and all that (like evidently many did), ultimately I have no major gripes. It’s gorgeously made and just a thrilling+gripping film, for my money.

Perhaps this movie is not the most explosive of the entire MCU, and it did not give us the great cameos that we theorized, we thought, among others. The film is visually stunning, the music by Danny Elfman, and the tone of terror by Sam Raimi. (And now the Obi-Wan Kenobi series is missing)

Marvel, please let Sam Raimi direct Doctor Strange 3

Some good picks definitely, but I'm quite surprised that you didn't include the wide shot of the Darkhold Castle and Mount Wundagore as Wanda and Wong are flying up to it, that one's probably my personal favourite.

The Dutch angles in this movie were a nice touch

Despite what fans and critics say about this. And despite the horrifying things I saw, I actually had fun watching this movie. It was better than Love & Thunder.

If I could add just a heads up for marvel, get sam for Doctor strange 3. he clearly Left a good impression on some fans and I want to see what he can do when there's no restrictions.

Perhaps it didn’t have the best plot, but it was so good. I love Wanda more but this movie made me love strange too

A lot of these shots seem ripped from other media. For example, the candles during the scene where SW is praying are right out of Diablo 3, and I think they got reused in Doom 2016. Many scenes are beautifully put together though, even if assets are reused or largely creatively derivative. Some scene transitions are a little wonky.

I realy didn't care for the movie but some visuals were just incredible

To be honest I never liked his movie and it disappointed me a bit, but the cinematography is excellent!

Not a fan of the writing in this, but goddamn the direction and cinematography were something I’d been missing in Marvel films since Iron Man. So glad it’s back

It's a big problem that Raimi doesn't know Dr. Strange and Wanda, and none of his crews even tries to do reserach about it? Even the actress gets confused about the similar story arc.

This movie actually looked great. The difference from no way home is night and day. Doesn't look like a sitcom and the shots have flavour to them (hopefully this doesn't sound pretentious). The colour grading and contrast (if that's what it is) presented some pretty dynamic shots. I wish more Marvel movies looked this good

Wanted to love this film and thought it looked amazing but boy the writing didnt do it for me. I wanted to like this so badly too. I think there is a masterpiece story potential with scarlett witch in this so this should have just been two movies IMO.

I must be one of the only people who was not liking very much the trailers for this movie and was very very surprised in a very good way by the movie !! Not much multiverse okay, but at least it's not a stupid movie that rely on nostalgia like NWH and it has beautiful shots. But of course comparing Sam Raimi with Jon Watts is almost not fair 🤣
